Creative Tops – Wildlife Trust Mugs
Creative Tops is one of the UK’s leading tableware companies. They stock many brands including Pedrini, Farberware, Sabatier and Savora. As well as look after many of the UK’s heritage brands such as; Victoria and Albert Museum and The Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew.
One of my favourite brands they stock though has to be The Wildlife Trust. Before my mobility declined I spent time volunteering at the local Wildlife Trust. Both at the centre and out on the local commons. I learnt so much from how to cut down a tree (and why even in the wild it is sometimes best to fell them rather than to let others grow), a small bit about tracking animals. As well as counting patches of the rare hybrid bilberry and mapping its location. To getting well acquainted with some lakes in Wales. So having learnt first hand some of the work they do I am always drawn to products that in some way support them or spread the word of their important work.
This year Creative Tops have realised a collaboration between The Wildlife Trust and wildlife artist Mark Greco. This is in the form of four contemporary mugs featuring; a hedgehog, otter, peregrine and short-eared owl.
Wildlife Trust Mugs
I have to admit as soon as I saw this range I fell in love with it. I love how it puts a new spin on the ever loved animal mug.
This twist that still shows off the beauty of each animal but perhaps brings them to the younger generation. I have to admit as beautiful as the perfectly painted pictures on plain white mugs are, they do to a point remind me of the sort of mug you would often gift an older relative.
Made of bone china this range of 4 beautiful mugs in my opinion would make a beautiful present for any animal lover.

Two of my loves coffee cups and animals. These are very creative. I can’t figure out which is my favorite. I love the hawk and owl, very majestic and the hedgehog is just plain fun. Great art from Mark Greco.

Love the designs, especially the hedgehog! I also like that they are made from bone china. So many mugs are not made of fine china and I find them so heavy and hard to carry around.
They have wild life imagination, that’s how wonderful to have those mugs, it reminds you of the other creators on earth while sipping from the mug.
The hawk and owl are my favorite but they are all very nice.
These mugs are so lovely and designed so well, that they’d be a great gift idea for anyone, including an animal lover.

I heard a lot of girls love hedgehog these days. I haven’t seen such creature but it does look cute in that mug. That seal is cute too. Very nice mugs!

I actually have a mug collection, and for me, the wilder designs are better! I would love to add a few of these to my collection, although I think I need to part with a few of the ones I already have first to make some room in my cupboards. These are beautiful and so unique!
