Asda Personalised Cakes for Any Occasions – Made the Same Day
Have you suddenly realised today is Valentine’s Day and you don’t have a thing for your loved one? Well stop, don’t panic as I have the perfect, delicious treat you can personalise to pick up today and your partner will never guess it has all been done last minute, I promise. Introducing Asda personalised cakes!
Personalised Cake from Intercake
Check it out! That’s Sally on a cake and all it took me to get it was a quick trip to Asda and my phone. I’m so happy with the results.
Intercake are the cake printing experts and now available at a whole host of Asdas across the country. What’s more, making your cake with Intercake is quick, simple and easy. First off you need your photo, this can be easily uploaded to the in-store machine using your phone, memory card or flash drives. Once you have uploaded your photo you can choose to add frames or texts for those finishing touches, then all you do is print your receipt and take it to the in-store bakery, where they will get your photo printed onto a topper and place your personalised topper on your cake. You can also pre order personalised cake toppings online.
What sort of images can you add to your cake?
You cannot use any copyright images on your Asda photo cake, so you are going to want to make sure the picture is yours and you have full rights to reproduce it for use on a cake. Other than that, your only limit is your imagination, it could be a favourite pet like I have done, loved ones, or just a favourite photo of a much-loved memory like an image of your 12ft trampoline birthday party to make a mighty fine cake.
What sort of cakes can you choose? At the moment there is a choice of a small cake to serve 22 and this comes in a choice of chocolate or raspberry sponge. While the larger size cake to serve 44 is available in a raspberry sponge only.
What are the Asda personalised cakes like?
We got ourselves the 22-serve chocolate sponge cake, which we all agreed was delicious. The cake itself was moist and had a use by date of over 10 days after we bought it allowing us to give pieces to friends and family as we saw them to really show off our cake.
Overall it was a really good experience from the easy-to-use system for designing your topper, which guided you through the process from start to finish. To the delicious cake, we were able to come home with. The small cake comes in at £12 (topper included) and is made while you wait, I think it took around 10 – 15 minutes for ours from start to finish.
Intercake also does an online service where you can order personalised cake toppers without leaving your sofa.

This is such a gret idea to personalise a cake, and so easy too. At the end of January my son had his sixth birthday and all my great plans went somewhat wrong; 7pn the night before I was left without a cake. My sister in law went off to buy one from a supermarket in the end, but it would have been lovely to so something like this. I would have had time on the morning of his birthday.

Its an incredible service isn’t it? We’ve always been pleased with Asda’s cake printing service (even though I make cakes for a living!) I didn’t realise that about copyright cakes though.
