Pinging Services
While this can be a tedious task, there are a few blog pinging services that you should have saved as bookmarks for use whenever you have new blog content posted. Some samples of pinging services that work great to increase blog traffic are: Pingoat.net, Googleping.com, and Ping.in. Check all of the appropriate services in each selection after inserting your blog name, blog site URL and if applicable your blog RSS feed link. You may have to enter a CAPTCHA code to proceed, and watch out for ad placements on these pinging services sites, be certain to click the actual site ping button, not the ads serviced on their website.
Submit Content to Social Media
Each day you have new content, visit the actual blog post and use your social share buttons at the bottom of the blog post to submit each post to your social media channels. Be certain to share your new blog site content on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest while LinkedIn can be a great addition if you have written something that falls in line with that area of social networking. It is important to maintain a consistent level of content pushing out on your blog site as well as all social media channels as a means to reach higher levels in search engine results. Add a little blurb to each social media share as a means to increase keyword data being indexed by robots on the social media networks.
Comment on Other Blogs
Spend about half an hour a day commenting on other blog sites, find areas that are within the same industry as yours and are higher traffic blogs as a means to utilise this to your advantage. The key to ensuring that each of the above three steps increases blog traffic is to do them regularly, when you have new blog site content, follow these three steps. Before you know it, you will have increased blog traffic with these tips and start to see an incline in your site stats data.

These are all great tips. I especially like the one about commenting on other blogs. Networking is the best way to meet new people and grow your following. I also am active in my Facebook groups and Pinterest/Tailwind boards and tribes which is a big traffic booster for me.
It really makes a difference talking to other bloggers and interacting doesn’t it.
