House of Ginger Co – Handmade Soap Company
Today I have to share a new company which is new to me. One that is all about bringing an extra element to your wash time.
Plus if you are looking to help support a small business while making better choices for your skin; House of Ginger Co could be perfect for you.
House of Ginger Co.

This handmade soap company is based in Hackney, East London. House of Ginger Co was founded by Anne-Marie, who herself suffers from dry skin and eczema. She had found that store-bought soaps caused her skin conditions to flare up and went looking for an alternative which helped.
Unsurprisingly Anne- Marie decided she wanted control over what she was using on her skin. So she decided to take the steps towards creating her own soap which used milder, natural products.
While her original soap has been redeveloped in the time since her first “eureka” moment. Her ethics around the brand remain the same. To create products that work with the skin, to help them feel better and hopefully help to make washing an enjoyable experience.
From the days of just the original soap formula, House of Ginger Co has grown and expanded to include a whole host of soap options. All of which follow the basis of offering a soap that helps the skin feel and look its best.
What’s in the Soaps?

All the soaps are free from; sulfates, parabens, harsh detergents, or toxic chemicals of any kind. While where possible all ingredients are; plant-derived, a natural resource, or sustainable.
Each of the soaps is made with high-quality ingredients such as opulent clays, flowers and raw substances around the world. Alongside luxury ingredients such as French pink clay, activated charcoal, and hibiscus flower. Each collection tells a story and is made to fulfil a specific purpose be it black charcoal to detoxify or pink clay to help draw out impurities.
When it comes to packaging, House of Ginger Co go for a minimal look, as they want the soap to do the talking. They come packaged in a simple cotton muslin bag accompanied by a hand-written label.
So why not let a House of Ginger Co soap help you take a step up in your skincare regime.
House of Ginger Co can be found on Etsy (affiliate link) to buy, while you can follow ideas for usage over on Anne-Marie’s Instagram account.
