All of the products sold by Good Twine of Lincoln have been made by Christine. She uses the beautiful technique of crochet to create modern, minimalist designs. Many of these designs are created as home accessories which have both decor and usability at their heart.

Interchangeable Crystal Pouch Necklace

If like me you have previously used crystal cages as a form of interchangeable necklace, only to find it quickly becomes out of shape, then this is a product you need to know about.

This beautiful pouch necklace has been hand crocheted using sewing thread and a small hook. The thread itself has been created from recycled bottles, which offers up a strong, waterproof and eco-conscious thread.

The pouch is created using a flexible crochet design, which means it alters to the shape of the crystal housed with it. It is then closed with a stopper bead which can be easily slid up and down when you want to change the crystal inside.

This then hangs on a delicate sterling silver chain which is offered in 16″ or 18″. While all of the crystals sold with the necklace have been ethically sourced.

The necklace is presented within a vegan suede jewellery pouch, which is made from certified partially-recycled vegan suede. Offering a perfect for gifting finish or a place for you to just keep your necklace safe.

Crystal Inclusion

The changing of the crystal is simple and takes a matter of seconds with the pouch able to fit a crystal tumble stone between 2cm and 3cm in size.

My interchangeable crystal pouch necklace came complete with 2 stones which are:

Rose Quartz – associated with love (including self-love), compassion, kindness and emotional healing.

Aventurine – associated with creativity, imagination, calmness and independence.

My Thoughts

I am really impressed with this crystal necklace, I love the fact it is so simple to the crystals, with the pouch easily forming to the shape it is placed around.

I cannot imagine the intricate work which goes into making the pouch part. Plus the fact that the whole process, the material used works in harmony with ethically sourced crystals.

This necklace, in my opinion, is versatile enough to be worn every day as well as on special occasions. I should also admit it has probably ticked off at least one Christmas present for a friend.
