I have never kept it much of a secret that I love home fragrance. As such my living room is filled with a whole host of different ways to scent the home. From candles to diffusers and burners, with which I like to try out different ways to rest and relax using scents. So when Amphora Aromatics got in touch and asked if I would like to try one of their new blends I, of course, said yes.
Who are Amphora Aromatics?
Opened in 1984 Amphora Aromatics pride themselves on providing pure essential oils, as well as items to complement them; such as burners, diffusers and candles. However, that isn't all, as over the years their range has grown to include their own brand creams, gels, massage oils, bath oils and more, which are stocked alongside other natural brands.
Pure Essential Blends.
To help those who are new to essential oils get their hands on quick and easy blends that will help compliment and set the mood of their home Amphora Aromatics have realised a new range. Consisting of 6 different scents this range includes the following blends:
- Sleep – Comforting
- Energise – Stimulating
- Revive – Uplifting
- Focus – Clarifying
- Relax – Calming
- Festive – Warming.
Each of these blends can be used in diffusers or burners, with some also being able to be used for steam inhalation or massage, however, please do check for each one what they can be safely used for.
Focus Clarifying Blend from Amphora Aromatics
I was sent Focus, which is clarifying and stimulating. It had been made from pure essential oils and is said to help you feel refreshed and focused (something I definitely need while blogging). Costing £7.50 this blend is safe for use in both burners and diffusers and contains ingredients such as:
- Rosemary – Stimulating
- Bergamot – Refreshing
- Lemon – Anxiety Reducing
- Myrrh – Positive Thought Boosting
I personally feel these ingredients all come together to make a wonderful fragrance. One which is slightly spicy, yet with a hint of citrus. For me it has helped perk me up and makes me want to do something, I've been having quite an anxious time of late and it does in some ways seem to calm that a little, perhaps as I take deeper breaths to enjoy the scent?
Overall I am really pleased with this blend, I think it is one I will use a lot during the day, switching to something a little more relaxing at night. Perhaps I need to treat myself to Sleep which sounds absolutely blissful.
Traditional Ceramic Fragrancer/Oil Burner.
Amphora Aromatics sell a range of ways to use your oils, for someone who is new to using essential oils then a traditional oil burner is a good starting place. The website offers a choice of 3 ceramic burners which come in at just £5.94 each and use a tealight to heat the water reservoir to the top, which you add 7 or 8 (or to your taste) drops of oil too.
If you are someone who knows they like essential oils around the home then an electric diffuser can be a great next step. These run on electric and most often turn themselves off when empty, so feel safer for use when I am busy.
Both of these items are of good quality and definitely have me wanting to try more from Amphora Aromatics. However one of you doesn't just have to believe me as they kindly sent me a second oil burner and Focus oil blend to giveaway to one of you. All you need to do to be in with a chance of winning is pop over to the Amphora Aromatics website let me know:
Other than this beautiful oil burner and the Focus oil blend, what would you love to try?
