Fashion Must Haves for the Summer

I think we are all looking forward to enjoying more of a normal summer this year. Especially after having spent a lot of the last year stuck indoors away from our loved ones.
However, if you are heading off into the sun or just soaking it up at home this year, what are the fashion must-haves we should all be looking out for?
Bags a Plenty.
Hands up who doesn’t love a good bag and this year is all about bright, bold designs. Such as these beautiful Valentino Garavani designer bags for women. Featuring bright colours and bold statement logos.
If you are a women’s handbag fan you might have already noticed that quilted is a lot that is being favoured by a lot of people this year.
While for those who need to carry it all, a tote bag is a must-have choice.
The Summer Dress.
It’s not summer without a new summer dress. However, what styles are looking to be at the forefront this year?
This year sees a range of summer styles coming into fashion from waist floss, to big and bold shoulders and cut out backs.
Fuchsia is one of the colours of the year, while seaside print is making its way onto the scene.
Step Out in Style.
When it comes to shoes this year offers a huge range to choose from. From the quilted look carrying into shoes such as mules and heels to clogs coming back into fashion with a bit of a quirky twist.
For those colder or wet days, then cowboy boots are a must. With a range of styles on offer from those embellished with studs to those which show off using colour.
If like me, you are often found in trainers, then it is time to ditch the plain and swap it out for a fun colourway or unique style.
Sunglasses a Must.
A must-have for anyone is a pair of sunglasses. In fact these days many people choose to wear them all year round to protect their eyes from harmful UVA and UVB rays.
This year sees styles such as the timeless aviators, retro cat-eye and futuristic looking shield-shaped specs being among the styles of choice.
While if you want to go big or go home, this is the year to do just that with your sunglasses as big frames and big colours are in.
Put a Hat On It.
Wondering what you should be wearing on your head, then wonder no more. This year sees the return of the bucket hat, which are available in a whole host of colours, many of which are covered with unique patterns.
Not a hat person but still want to wear something on your head? Then this year is perfect for playing with scarves. Silky printed headscarves are this year hitting the headlines as a different way to style your hair.
Of course, these are just a few of the trends which are hitting the streets this year. The best part is you can pick and choose what suits you.

I don’t wear dresses in the winter, but find they are the best way to keep cool in the summer time!
Definitely – they are a must for when it gets hot.
I love summer. It really helps explore my personality and bring out my confidence. My favourite summer clothing is definitely summer dresses which I have to admit, I have too many of, haha. As I’m still a mum to two little ones, having a fashionable bag is hard as it has to fit the kid’s world inside. And it’s impossible to wear sunglasses as they both want to wear it instead leaving them scratched and stretched out. But doesn’t stop me admiring people’s fashion sense and looking forward to the day I can step out like them.
Thank goodness I’m now past the age of fashion and into comfort!
I do love to wear a nice Summer dress, unfortunately there are not enough nice days in the Summer to take advantage of wearing a dress. I seem to remember last year during the main lockdown that I did get to wear my Summer dresses
It’s a shame isn’t it – we seem to have sun for a handful of days which are stupidly hot and that is it!

Alas,Summer is all but over now. We’re into Autumn with its colder, damper weather. Being out those socks, thermal wear and big jumpers! It’s nice being more casual during this period of the year. Comfort above everything!
We had a warm week here last week a bit out of the blue but very nice to have I think for many.

Sunglasses are a must aren’t they I have to admit to wearing them all year around.

I know I can’t believe how quickly this year has gone by, it has been nice to be able to do more this year.
I do have a weakness for bags and not had a new one for ages, I love summer dresses and have a lovely selection. As I wear glasses all the time I treated myself to reactive ones so no longer need to worry about sunglasses which has been great this year.
I have to admit I love a handbag but I can’t carry them now which I guess at the very least saves me some money.

Fingers crossed – we seemed to have some really awfully hot days this year and that was it.

I am with you there, I definitely struggle all year around really if I don’t have some sunglasses around.
These are some fun looks. I basically just live in t-shirts and call it a day. I normally stick to pants because stores and restaurants love the blast their AC and it makes me cold.
I wish more places over here had AC – we went to the pub once thinking it would be cooler as they would have AC and nope lol.
