Exante Diet: Review

What is the Exante diet?
Each solution includes you eating/drinking three of Exante’s meal replacement products per day. For the total solution you consume only the Exante diet products. This is a very low calorie diet offering a total of 600 calories per day and is a super quick way to lose weight. On the other programmes you add a snack or meal to the mix with the amount of calories allowed, depending on how many calories you are aiming to consume per day. The Exante website offers ideas and recipes for keeping within your daily calorie limit.
I was sent an assortment of 21 products which is enough to try the diet for a week. There are a number of different types of items to tempt you. For cold meals there are Exante meal replacements like snack bars and shakes while if you’re more of a hot meal person you could opt for porridges, soups and a range of meals such as pasta carbonara and spaghetti bolognese.
Meal replacement shakes
I’m going to get the meal replacement shakes over with quickly. I didn’t particularly like them but I’m not that surprised by that. In fact when I spoke to the people to arrange the trial I said I wasn’t much of a fan of any sort of shake. They weren’t non-drinkable compared to other diet shakes I have tried. They were ok. I’m just not and never will be a shake girl.
I wish I had been sent more of the bars, sadly I got just the one. I think these would have become one of my favourite items in the diet as it got me chewing. For some reason with me, chewing rather than slurping helps me to feel fuller.
Exante meals
My hands down favourite products have to be the porridges. While they don’t have the oats of a freshly made batch, they do offer a creamy hot snack that is really nice. In fact just the smell of the apple and cinnamon one had me looking forward to giving it a try. When it came to the soups and meals I was surprised by the amount of flavour they did have. I had expected them to be quite bland considering they have been dehydrated so that was a pleasant surprise.
It’s hard to tell exactly how much weight I lost over the course of trying the diet due to my middle of the road time out, but I can tell you my clothes are definitely feeling a bit looser.
If I was to do the Exante Diet myself I would miss out the shakes and have a porridge for breakfast, snack bar for lunch and soup or meal for dinner. With each meal costing £2.58 when compared to some of the other complete meal replacement diets on the market it is a lot more pocket friendly. It also offers a more palatable range than some of the previous diets and weight loss plans that I have tried. They are also so simple to make. With the vast majority of the meals you just needed to add water, so no faffing around trying to find and weight out certain amounts of this and that.

I have just started today. I have had a shake for breakfast and lunch and a snack bar mid morning and just had one now. I have also been drinking loads of water too. I am thinking of having the soup for dinner. Will I go over the recommended calorie intake for this with having the snack bars as a snack? Just I do get hungry and I have gone from eating quite a bit during the day, crackers for snacks, etc I am a bit worried about my energy level dropping, as I am struggling with that at the mo anyway with depression etc

EXTANTE DIET IS CHEAT
This is cheating company! they send me the delivery despite my request to cancel the orders within few minutes of placing the order, they have been promising me a refund for two months now, only to tell me that the delivery is complete. I never received it but they charged me £209.55. and the hell and humiliation they made me go through rude, inefficient customer service who give false and misleading information
This looks super easy! I’d have to do some research on it – do you happen to know if it’s gluten-free? Or did I miss that part?
I have never heard of this product before. I will look into it since I would like to lose a few pounds.
I’d definitely consider it, in fact I’m off to have a look now! They sound lovely (especially the porridge ones) and the packaging is great! 🙂
I dont’ think I could do this one. Just too low for me to function, and really 1100 is the minimum for healthy weight loss – I guess this would be a short term boost diet though?
I don’t mind shakes – although I hate the branded ones, I tend to use Tesco. Also, the ready made up ones aren’t great compared to the powder ones strangely. I suppose it’s the preservatives needed. I like the ease of anything that just means I eat those through the day, and then a normal meal in the evenint. Although I do find my best way to lose weight is to eat my main meal at lunch time with the shake/bar in the evening. Whenever I eat with my husband, I struggle to lose weight – not fair that he has an active job and can basically eat what he wants!
