Exante Diet: Review

What is the Exante diet?
Each solution includes you eating/drinking three of Exante’s meal replacement products per day. For the total solution you consume only the Exante diet products. This is a very low calorie diet offering a total of 600 calories per day and is a super quick way to lose weight. On the other programmes you add a snack or meal to the mix with the amount of calories allowed, depending on how many calories you are aiming to consume per day. The Exante website offers ideas and recipes for keeping within your daily calorie limit.
I was sent an assortment of 21 products which is enough to try the diet for a week. There are a number of different types of items to tempt you. For cold meals there are Exante meal replacements like snack bars and shakes while if you’re more of a hot meal person you could opt for porridges, soups and a range of meals such as pasta carbonara and spaghetti bolognese.
Meal replacement shakes
I’m going to get the meal replacement shakes over with quickly. I didn’t particularly like them but I’m not that surprised by that. In fact when I spoke to the people to arrange the trial I said I wasn’t much of a fan of any sort of shake. They weren’t non-drinkable compared to other diet shakes I have tried. They were ok. I’m just not and never will be a shake girl.
I wish I had been sent more of the bars, sadly I got just the one. I think these would have become one of my favourite items in the diet as it got me chewing. For some reason with me, chewing rather than slurping helps me to feel fuller.
Exante meals
My hands down favourite products have to be the porridges. While they don’t have the oats of a freshly made batch, they do offer a creamy hot snack that is really nice. In fact just the smell of the apple and cinnamon one had me looking forward to giving it a try. When it came to the soups and meals I was surprised by the amount of flavour they did have. I had expected them to be quite bland considering they have been dehydrated so that was a pleasant surprise.
It’s hard to tell exactly how much weight I lost over the course of trying the diet due to my middle of the road time out, but I can tell you my clothes are definitely feeling a bit looser.
If I was to do the Exante Diet myself I would miss out the shakes and have a porridge for breakfast, snack bar for lunch and soup or meal for dinner. With each meal costing £2.58 when compared to some of the other complete meal replacement diets on the market it is a lot more pocket friendly. It also offers a more palatable range than some of the previous diets and weight loss plans that I have tried. They are also so simple to make. With the vast majority of the meals you just needed to add water, so no faffing around trying to find and weight out certain amounts of this and that.

I’ve never heard of this diet. Is it offered in America?
I am so not a shake person. I need something to chew on, haha 😛
I understand the thing about shakes. I have to drink shakes sometimes to help me maintain or gain weight & I’m not a big fan of drinking them. The only shakes I like are milkshakes lol, not the meal replacements. I think my mom & cousin would like something like this but they’d skip the shakes completely.
I think that this is a good sounding option if you’r e able to follow through and not eat something after the shake 🙂
I’m open to trying new health/diet stuff … I’m not a big shake person but if it works and tastes good… hey.
I am a big fan of breakfast shakes because I never remember to actually eat. At least they give me some nutrition! The porridge sounds really good too!
This looks like a great option for people who are trying to live a healthier lifestyle and to lose some weight.
Not a diet a person, or a shake person. But whatever works for you!
As far as breakfast shakes go, I make them all myself then just add some protein powder. I’m not sure I could stomach a shake called Shepards Pie, or any other hot meal shake. I’m more your banana, strawberry, almond milk kind of shake girl.
I’m sure you’d lose weight on this diet as the calories seem very low. It’s a short term diet which is great if you are losing weight for something in particular, like a holiday.
I also need to chew and crunch to feel full. Shakes just never make me feel full, even if they are packed with fruits and veggies. Must be a psychological thing. These do sound very tasty!
I don’t really do shakes but I do a lot of green juicing. Yum and they actually fill me up
I’m like you in that I need to chew something to feel full. I’m not a huge fan of diets like these, but I guess it doesn’t hurt to try right?
Breakfast shakes don’t fill me up either but this looks interesting.
I haven’t heard of Exante Diet before, but it does sound interesting. I think I would like to try their porridges.
I am not a fan of piwdered shakes. Then again, anything to loose weight lol
I would be interested in trying this out as I have a couple of pounds to lose.
I like to have a protein shake for breakfast too, but I like something to chow down on the middle of the day , like the bar also.
i’m particular about my shakes i prefer to make my own with fruit. glad you made it through it.
I really like protein shakes for breakfast with lots of spinach, kale, and fruit. As for bars – I just can’t do those. Funny how different all of our taste buds are!
I’m not sure if I would try this or not. Really depends on the price. I feel like I need to control my portions more than I need to spend money on diet food.
If they’re anything like cream of wheat in consistency, I’d like them. I love that stuff! I’m with you in general though. I need to chew and crunch!
I really like shakes and I have 2 or 3 protein shakes a day! But I use them as supplements and not meal replacements.
What’s up, of course this article is genuinely nice and I have learned lot of things from it regarding blogging. thanks.
I have a hard time with breakfast shakes sometimes because they don’t fill me up that well. I like bars for breakfast and these sound like something I would be interested in trying out!
