Date Night With Cotton Traders
PR Samples – I was kindly sent the items in this post from Cotton Traders for consideration on my blog.
Valentine’s Day is here and no matter if you are looking for the perfect outfit for tonight, date night or just a meal out with your Galentine, Cotton Traders have you covered.
So what items do they have that I think would work together for the perfect date night outfit?
Romantic Printed Crinkle Tunic

Coming in a choice of colours and designs the Romantic Crinkle Tunic cuts a beautiful flowing figure. It has also been made with a forgiving crinkle texture, which makes it the perfect pick for any last-minute plans.
With a pullover design, it features button detailing to the front and to the cuffs of the 3/4 length sleeves. Thanks to the shaped hem and neckline as well as bust darts this tunic works with the body shape to look like a timeless classic.
Easily dressed up for nights out, or down for daytime coffee dates, this top is bound to be a wardrobe staple for many.
The Romantic Printed Crinkle Tunic comes in at £35 and is available in sizes 10 – 26 and I would say it is true to size.
The Denim Jacket

Every wardrobe deserves a denim jacket and The Denim Jacket from Cotton Traders is one which offers style and choice.
Coming in 4 colour options including; green, spring rose, stonewash and bluebell this denim jacket is offered in sizes 8 – 24. Personally, I did size up in this just as I knew I would want to wear it over other clothing, however, I probably could have got away with choosing my normal size.
It is designed in a cropped style, which is on trend right now and features stud buttons to the front, cuffs and front pockets. Made from a slightly stretchy, softer material this jacket brings a modern feel to an old staple.
Bound to be an item you can grab all year around The Denim Jacket comes in at £39.
Freya Pull-On Stretch Flared Jeans
I live in stretch trousers of some kind, my skin no longer likes more ridged options and as such I was interested to see how these flared jeans felt. I personally found them to be better cut than the previous jeggings I had reviewed from Cotton Traders for a plus-size figure, offering more room in the hips and bottom.
Offered up in sizes 8 – 22 and come in 27″ or 29″ inside leg options. They have a concealed elasticated waistband and due to the flare style will work well with boots, shoes, trainers and sandals come summer.
The Freya Pull-On Stretch Flared Jeans come in at £35.
Floral Lace-Up Boots

To bring the outfit together I just had to go for these floral boots, available in both this floral on black and a floral on pink design. Offering up chunky soles, with a small block heel alongside a side zip for easy access.
I personally found them to be comfortable and just needed to loosen the laces a little to make them fit me. They are an E-fit in width and come in sizes 4 – 7, I would say they are true to size as the size 6 fitted me well. Personally, I love the shimmering design of the flowers against the darker background.
The Floral Lace-Up Boots come in at £49.
If any of these items catch your eye, they can be bought from Cotton Traders online, or at many of their stores across the UK.
What do you think of these items, would you like to add any of them to your wardrobe?

I keep meaning to get myself a denim jacket, although we will be in coat weather soon enough if not already!
It has got so cold so quickly hasn’t it – I’m sat here feeling freezing need to grab my gloves.
Perfect outfit for a date night, I love those boots, would go with so many different outfits, I’d wear them with a dress
Oh yes lovely staples, those boots are simply adorable! Enjoy date night!
They are so fun aren’t they – I love how they have done the flowers against the dark background.
Agree that a denim jacket is a wardrobe staple, and I love the floral boots.
A good denim jacket is a must isn’t it – every wardrobe needs one.
Love a denim jacket – definitely an amazing wardrobe staple!
It is a must, isn’t it? I think everyone needs one in their life.
We’re no stranger to Cotton Traders – great quality and durable!
I was reading the history of them when writing this post and I was amazed it was started by two Rugby players.
I love cotton traders. Im actually wearing one of my favourite dresses by them now! I always used to think of them as quite an older persons shop but after going in once I love them! Those boots are fab by the way!
The boots are fantastic, I love the shimmer to them and it’s just something different from black as well. They definitely have something for all ages I think.
I love the look of the floral lace up boots! The compliment the outfit perfectly!
The boots are lovely and so comfortable as well, I am definitely going to wear those a lot.
I love those boots! I have never heard of Cotton Traders but I love how arrange something super comfortable and yet stylish for Valentines Day, i.e. no high heels, over revealing dress and something not suitable for UK’s cold weather.
I have to admit comfy is always my main goal – my skin gets so sore that everything has to be stretchy and comfortable for me to get away with it.
I do not think that I would want to wear women’s clothes (anymore!!!), but they look great for your style
@Michael Fisher, I’m sure you’ll get away with that denim jacket 😉
Not looked at Cotton Traders for years – I think they deserve a revisit
Definitely worth a look at, they have some really great ideas going on!
I’ve been a long time fan of Cotton Traders I have a few dresses I’ve bought with the company over the years. Those boots you have reviewed are definitely on my wish list, love the style abd reasonably priced too
It seems like a lot of people have been loving them for a long time! I have to admit I didn’t realise they had been around as long as they have.
