Are you looking around for your perfect Christmas decorations yet? Here are some suggestions from interiors expert Alison Cork’s Alison at Home range.
I know as soon as I step into a shop which sells them, I can’t help but have a look around to see if any catch my eye, even if I am trying my best to ignore the fact Christmas is coming! These days it isn’t just in store you get to browse them but also online and sometimes on TV too.
This year QVC have got so many beautiful ideas, to hang both on your tree and around your home. There are some absolute beauties in Alison Cork’s collection. This collection of Christmas decorations includes shiny baubles, pretty lights and wonderful standing ornaments.
Renowned interiors and home expert Alison Cork has published several books including ‘Special Occasions’ which contains lots of inspiration for those good times, and ‘Streetwise Guide to Decorating your Home’ so she should know a thing or two about Christmas decorations! She has also presented several TV series, including 60 Minute Makeover, and is an expert on home interiors.

Battery Operated 10 LED Glass Owl String Light – £12
I’ve seen quite a few owl ornaments for this Christmas and I think it might just be one of my favourite trends for this year. These are just the cutest – I would love to see them lit up and on display in my home.
Champagne Glitter Mistletoe Garland – £14.50
There is a number of different garlands on offer from Alison Cork and I think this one is just perfect for those people who are looking for a way to add some mistletoe into the home, in perhaps a bit of a different way than a sprig hanging above a door.
Warm White LED Festive Tree with Glitter – £35.50
It isn’t always practical to have a large tree in your home and for you to spend hours decorating it, which is where a beauty like this comes into play. You can just set it up and let it do its own thing, which is sitting there looking festive and pretty.
6 White Woodland Inspired Decorations – £20.40
Back to the animal and natural theme with this gorgeous set of white decorations with silver accents. This set of six is made from glass and again features an owl along with a bird, two different pine-cones, an icicle and a finial. Just perfect.
Set of 100 Assorted Baubles – £39.96
Last but by no means least, is this set of assorted baubles. It’s the perfect way to put together your Christmas tree and make sure it all matches. With a mix of grey and champagne pieces, your only task would be working which one to hang where.

Adore the tree Warm White LED Festive Tree with Glitter wish to have one of those instead of a big tree that takes me 6 hours to sort out!

Love the mistletoe garland/wreath. I live in the country & always make my own Christmas wreath (and make them as gifts for work colleagues & friends) but never thought of using mistletoe.
These are really gorgeous decorations. I love gold on Christmas, but I like it to be classy, not gaudy. These fit that bill.
