Celebrate 70 with Gant
It’s not every day a company turns 70!
This year, however, Gant celebrates its big 7-0 and wants everyone to know they have something wonderful to offer.
The story began in 1949, with a company who specialised in shirts in the USA.
In the years that followed, this brand flourished and starting a number of trends.
Now 70 years later, they are available across the globe and while they still specialise in shirts. They also, now sell a range of fashion and accessories for men, women and children.
To get behind their celebrations, Gant kindly sent me a couple of items to try from their women’s wear range.
GANT Zoee Slip-on Plimsoles
My hands aren’t the best anymore, I’ve spoken before how I started blogging at a time, where my life was pretty rubbish. I had to give up jewellery making and writing to penfriends as my hands would cramp and I needed something to keep me going.
Over the past 9 years, my hands have only got worse, so these days I am all about simplicity.
When it comes to shoes, I live in anything comfortable and to be honest, while yes I own trainers, I slip them on and off, rather than doing them up.
So it seemed like a good idea, to give something like these slip-on plimsoles a go and see if they would work well for me.
Coming in either silver (as seen in this post) or pink, they are made with a cotton upper and inner and a plastic sole.
These perfect for summer shoes are simple to slip on and off and are made true to size (perhaps excitingly they even offer a couple of half sizes).
Personally, I am really impressed by the comfort of these shoes and they will be coming away with me on holiday for sure this year.

GANT Comfy Ribbed Crew Sweater
If you are a fan of colour then this crew sweater might be just what you have been after.
This particular sweater comes in a choice of lemon zest, eggshell or palace blue and in sizes, XS (4) – XXL (22) (some styles come in an XXXL and XXXXL to so do look around)!
I’m not sure if I’m the only person who thinks this, but when I see something called “comfy” I always think, is it really going to be comfy? This sweater, however, most definitely lives up to its name.
Made of 100% cotton, it is machine washable at 40 degrees.
The design is a straight, relaxed fit and is made to be slightly roomy, offering both comfort and warmth.
It is the perfect top to team with jeans for a casual everyday look.

A Huge Thumbs Up For Gant
I have to admit prior to Gant getting in touch with me I hadn’t heard of them. I obviously live in a small bubble!
However, I am really blown away with the quality of the items. They really have something to offer people, which can be easily added to your wardrobe daily and I have been using my plimsoles and jumper often!
So with that in mind, I had to say this 70th year from Gant is most definitely a year to get behind them.

The slip on plimsolls look ideal for my husband. He only wears slip ons nowadays.

I’m not familiar with Gant, but it looks like they have nice items. I am picky about my shoes, and those ones look comfortable. I bet you look great in that shade of blue, it is really pretty!
