Braun Satin-Hair 7 Iontec Brush

Ever since I was young I have said I dislike my hair, I think it’s a feeling most of go through at one point or another, however, my hair seems to forever be frizzy or suffering from a bout of static, making it sometimes look like I have a small bush placed on top of my head.

Since my teens it has slightly calmed down thankfully, whether that is to do with just getting older, different hair styles or the advancements in technology I don’t know. But I can certainly say I do notice the improvement in frizz between the times I have used a hair dryer that includes iontac and one that doesn’t.

This little brush is actually battery operated and a flick of a switch send a wave of ions, out the back of it and into your hair as you run the brush over your luscious locks.

But it looks so normal? The design of the brush is actually really well thought out and very clever, the battery compartment is hidden away in the handle, the ion disperser is positioned to the back of the brush just above the handle, while the cushioned pad of bristles is completely removable to allowed it to be cleaned.

Knowing if you have the brush switch on is simple, as the area around the button glows green, however if like me you are bound to forgot to turn it off or you want to carry it around in your handbag and your worried about it switching on by accident, never fear! For it has an inbuilt automatic switch off feature.

But it sounding good and actually working are two different things, so I was excited to get my hands on, one and give it a run for its money.

Actually I was really surprised, I expected little difference, especially as I’ve been losing a lot of hair of late and the regrowth looks a little like I have a halo of hair around my head. But from brushing daily in front of the mirror I can definitely say there is a difference between using a normal brush and this one.

My hair instantly looks smoother, with the frizz tamed, which means I personally feel a little more confident when going out, that my hair might actually look semi-passable for once.

If I was looking at this as a normal brush the cushioned pad and bristles are actually very good in their own right, as they seem to glide through the hair without trying to pick a fight with any small tangle.
