BHVNA London – Luxury Candle Review
Those of you who are regulars around my blog or Instagram may be aware that I absolutely adore home fragrance.
I’ve always been one of those people who loves their home to smell good. So things like reed diffusers, wax melts and candles have long been items I’ve used.
I have also, more so late, realised there is a link between scents and how I feel. Certain smells can most definitely lift me up, perhaps drawing on memories of happy moments.
Recently I came across BHVNA London, a luxury fragrance company specialising in candles and reed diffusers.

BHVNA London has been created by Bina and taps into her love of fragrance.
After taking some time out from her busy work schedule in London and travelling the world, she found a want to try something new. After struggling to find a hobby that felt quite right for a while, her son suggested something which would expand on her love fragrance.
She realised he was right and it was from there she started to form the ideas, which in time became BHVNA.
It took many months of playing with raw ingredients, to try and get the fragrances right. After all, she knew she wanted to offer something different. Blends which perfectly worked together and offered something unique to the customer.
I was kindly sent one of the candles from her amazing range to try out.
Turkish Rose.
At the moment there are 6 fragrances in BHVNA’s collection, with each one offering a unique scent experience. The website offers an insight into the mood behind candle scent, which will help you decide if the fragrance falls into a scent family of your liking.
For instance, Turkish Rose offers a mood of Oriental Floral.
With the fragrance notes as follows:
Top notes of Saffron and Black Pepper.
Heart of Rose de Mai, Turkish Rose and Bulgarian Rose.
Base notes of Incense, Amber and Sandalwood.
When it comes to presentation, each candle comes boxed with details of how best to use it. As you open the lid you are treated to a cold throw of the candle and a small collection of notes on each of the candles within the range.
Each candle is presented in a white or black glass jar with a metal lid, offering a luxurious feeling both in presentation and scent.
With up to 40 hours of burn time, this candle is one people are going to love burning and enjoying.
My Thoughts.
For me, the scents that really come through are the Sandlewood and Amber with a side of Rose. It’s is a really uplifting scent, that gets me wanting to enjoy life.
When it comes to quality it reminds me of the sort of scent you are most likely to find in a spa and can only wish of replicating at home. Well until now.
It is clear that Bina has created something she loves and wants to share with the world. Which needs nothing more than the simple, elegant packaging and its fragrance to show you it is here for business. No bells and whistles needed.
This is a candle I won’t be forgetting and one which will definitely be bought out when I want to make an impression.
BHVNA London’s candles come in a full size 30cl at £40 each and well worth it when you factor in quality, burn time and the fact this is a luxury candle, and also a travel size 9cl at £18 so you can take one with you wherever you go.

I did not know this candle brand AT ALL. You’ve just made me add one more lil’ thing to my wishlist… I usually use the classic Yankee Candle ones, and at this time of the year, I’d probably use the Seaside Woods or Autumn Glow one. However, I’m always very happy to find new smells, so thank you for sharing BHVNA! I’d probably get the Turkish Rose one, to feel cheerful and relaxed when I write!

Kuro Orchid Candle sounds so exotic and different to anything I’ve heard before
I would choose the Oud Affair Candle. The spicy cardamom and black pepper sounds lovely. Not sure what saffron smells like. This candle’s description seems to be woody and rich which is what I love. I can imagine myself sitting in my lounge, just a wee backlight, enough to illuminate my book, a glass of wine and my new candle burning. Perfect.

Cedar Leaf Candle will take me back to the 1980s on a New England road trip and the smell of the sawmills on every corner.
All very beautiful but I would choose the Cherry Blossom Candle. The fragrance notes are really appealing but mostly it is because cherry blossoms always remind me of the cherry blossoms in my childhood garden.
I love the smell of roses. As soon as I heard Turkish Rose my heart skipped a beat. (Not even joking) It sounds like it would smell incredible. What an awesome prize!

The Oud Affair Candle sounds scrumptious. I love something woody and spicy, but with citrus and vanilla scents too it has about every smell I love in a candle all rolled in to one!
