Autumn Picks from Yours Clothing 2023

If you liked my summer from Yours Clothing post, I am thrilled to be back with one for autumn.
Yours is a shop I find easy to buy from. As I’ve said before, I definitely wouldn’t label myself stylish due to the fact I pick comfort over style because of my health.
However, Yours Clothing offers a lovely range to choose from, allowing me to feel presentable.
Yours offer a range of clothing in sizes 14 – 40, alongside shoes and accessories.
So, what were my autumn picks?
Curve Green Button Knitted Cardigan
When it comes to autumn, I am always looking for a good cardigan. I struggle to regulate my temperature, so I have to wear layers that I can easily remove, to try and keep at a comfortable place.
This particular cardigan comes in a range of colours. I personally went for the sage green option, but you can also get it in black, pink, and blue and white gingham.
It is oversized in style, and to be honest, I probably should have come down a size or two. I normally size up for comfort, so buying an oversized item in a size too large leads to it being a bit too big.
However, it will work well as an outer layer when I need to pile those on deeper into winter.

Black Faux Fur Biker Boots
When it comes to autumn, there is nothing quite like a good pair of boots to see you through. This pair are faux leather and have a faux fur lining.
They are offered in both an EE fit and an EEE fit, so they’re perfect for those who have wider feet.
They feature a block heel and rounded toe, while the fur goes down to around ankle height, helping to keep your feet warmer. To get them on easily, they feature a zip to the inside.
As with other shoes I’ve had from Yours, I find these boots true to size. However, it is worth knowing the fit you need.
I go for an EE fit, as I have wider feet than average.
I can definitely see these boots coming out a lot over winter, as I feel they will be comfortable to wear, even in my chair.

Curve Black Contrast Drawstring Pocket Parka
If there is one item of clothing everyone needs in the autumn, it has to be a parka. This particular one is showerproof and can be folded up neatly into one of the pockets.
Offered in a range of 11 contrasting colours, I personally played it safe with the black version. It features adjustable full-length sleeves and can be drawn in around the waist to offer some shape.
When it comes to sizing, I would suggest if you are likely to wear much more than a t-shirt and light jumper underneath, you should size up. It is definitely made more for cooler autumn days rather than to be worn over the thicker clothes of winter.
I personally like the fact that you can simply fold it into a pocket bag, and I can see this being a coat I keep in the car.

The parka is perfect and it folds up so small – I’ve popped mine into the boot of the car so I always have one!

I have to admit I thought they stopped around 32 as well – but it is so good they are going larger everyone should be able to access clothes for themselves.

Honestly, I am all about cosy and comfortable – the cardigan is perfect as well!
Oh I love the boots. I’m always one to pick comfort over style. For me there is no point dressing up really nice when I’m going to be really cold and uncomfortable. Hence why I never really like heels and always prefer flats like these boots. I love a warm knitted cardigan too
I am so with you there – I just want to be comfortable, especially with the fact my skin can feel sore these days, so I’m all about elasticated waists and being cosy!
