ArtYourFace: Review and Competition

I love having things on the wall around the home, in fact, our walls are pretty covered, with art of all different sorts, though a theme of dogs from my side and anime or comics from Ash’s does seem to repeat a few times. However, with that said, I am always up for the challenge of finding space for another picture and when ArtYourFace got in touch and asked if wanted to review something from their wide range of alternative ways to art your face, I, of course, said yes.

ArtYourFace – Banksy Style

The ArtYourFace website lets you choose from a whole host of different styles of art int the pop art styled area from brush colour, Obama-art and typo just to name a few in this section. While other options include changing you into a caricature, making art from your voice and cityscapes.

I, of course, had to get something done with Sally on and I thought this Banksy style wall art print was perfect.

Ordering from the ArtYourFace website is actually simple, once you know the style you want (and the size), you need to upload some images for the artists to work from, I believe I uploaded 3 or 4 of Sally, trying to cover different angles and looks, but hands up I am thrilled they went for this picture of her with her crown on. After all, it is one of my favourites.

Not long after sending through my choice of photos, I received a selection of artists ideas back via the website, these all used the photo but had slightly different takes on it as well as some being portrait and others landscape. At this point, I was able to “OK” the image (which I did) or send it back and ask for alterations had I not have been happy.

Overall I am really impressed with how my picture from ArtYourFace came out and can’t wait to get it on the wall, hopefully sometime soon.

Images in the Pop Art section of the ArtYourFace website start at £49, depending on style and size, however, they are well worth it in my mind if you are after something really different to hang on your wall (or gift to your friend).

  8. Pop-Art by Andy Warhol is my favourite style as Andy was a visionary. Much like Banksy; his work is instantly known throughout the world. Iconic.

  21. I think my next favourite would have to be the ANDY WARHOL art, although the voice one is pretty cool and unusual which is what I like.

  35. The city prints are my favourite; so simple yet so mesmerising. The Hamburg city view is my favourite, not only because of it’s distinctiveness but also that’s where my son was born.

  196. I love both the Obama style and the pop style. In fact they are all fantastic looking so it would probably depend on what photo I wanted printing.

  206. The COMIC AND REAL looks good. There are one or two websites that you can make your own edits, and then print them out.
