The Ultimate Spring Bucket List: 30 Little Joys to Welcome the Season
There is something magical about Spring, as the days become lighter, and the world seems to start growing again around us, it can really feel like everything (including ourselves) is coming back to life.
So if you are looking for some fun, simple, or different ways to welcome this new season, I have put together 30 little joys to help you welcome Spring.
You don’t have to complete them all, or even most of them; the idea is to pick a few on the days you feel like celebrating the season, or on those days when you need a reminder that brighter days are ahead.
Getting Outside Again

- Go on a blossom walk and notice the trees starting to bloom
- Visit a local park and take in the signs of new life
- Sit in your garden with your morning tea or coffee
- Take a slow walk somewhere green
- Watch the sunset
- Wander around a garden centre (even if you don’t buy anything)
- Look out for daffodils, tulips, or bluebells
- Have your first picnic of the year
- Open your windows and let fresh air fill your home
- Sit by water, a lake, a canal, or even a pond
Cosy Spring Reset at Home

- Do a gentle spring clean (even just one drawer counts)
- Swap heavy blankets for lighter, brighter ones
- Add a fresh scent to your home: candles, sprays, or diffusers
- Wash your bedding and enjoy that fresh-bed feeling
- Rearrange a small corner of your space
- Bring home some flowers (supermarket ones count!)
- Tackle one “doom pile” you’ve been avoiding
- Start a small herb pot or houseplant
- Let natural light take over, open curtains wide
- Switch to a lighter, more uplifting playlist
Little Seasonal Joys

- Try something fresh and seasonal to eat
- Bake or cook something simple and spring-inspired
- Treat yourself to something small, just because
- Do something a little Easter-themed (yes, even as an adult)
- Visit a farm or spot baby animals if you can
- Browse a local market or spring fair
- Spend a bank holiday doing absolutely nothing
- Take photos of small signs of spring around you
- Start something new; even if it’s tiny
- Let yourself believe things might be getting a little better
A Gentle Reminder
You don’t have to tick everything off this list; you don’t even have to do many of them, as, after all, spring isn’t about doing more, it’s about noticing more.
Remember, even the smallest moment of sunshine on your face or a fresh breeze through the window as you sit with a cup of tea counts, and sometimes, that’s more than enough.
What would be at the top of your Spring bucket list?
