Cotton Traders Pattern Park Edit
PR Samples – I was kindly sent the items in this post from Cotton Traders for consideration on my blog.
Are you getting ready for that summer feel? Thanks to the longer days and warmer weather it is coming time to put away the winter wardrobe and dress for better days.
For everyone thinking about getting a few new things to add to their spring outfits, this season Cotton Traders might have just what you are after with their Pattern Park edit.
Pattern Park
The spring collection from Cotton Traders this year is called Pattern Park and it is all about those prints. From florals to fruits and blooms and even down to monochrome spots and classic stripes the collection has something for everyone.
What’s more, it also offers up staple pieces to pair those perfectly patterned pieces with, such as colourful cropped trousers, comfortable jeans and linen must-haves.
Today I have picked 4 pieces from the Pattern Park collection to share with you.
Lucy Lace Trim Short Sleeve Jersey Top

I wanted to go for a simple base and bring in the bright colours elsewhere so I started off with a simple white t-shirt, which had a pretty lace trim across the shoulders.
This t-shirt is made from a mix of 100% Cotton while the lace is 100% Polyester, while it features a v-neck shape with faux shell button detailing. This offers up a simple base layer, which can be easily dressed up or down.
The Lucy Lace Trim Short Sleeve Jersey Top comes in sizes 10 – 26 and comes in at £24.
Premium Pull-On Denim Straight-Leg Jeans
Next up I decided to go for a pair of straight-leg jeans. I honestly am loving the fact that pull-on denim jeans are becoming easier to get ahold of. I spent many years living in leggings as they were the only comfortable thing due to having such sensitive skin. However, as long as I am careful I’ve found pull-on jeans can work for me on better days.
These ones from Cotton Traders are beautifully soft thanks to being made with a cotton-rich fabric that offers a slight stretch. Coming in a straight-leg style, they aren’t going to have too much of a flare, but neither are they going to hold close to the legs, which can be a downside to jeggings. They even have pockets!
Personally, I would say these are true to size and offered in a choice of leg lengths; 27″, 29″, 31″ and 33″ and sizes 8 – 22.
The Premium Pull-On Denim Straight-Leg Jeans come in at £35 and have 1193 reviews with an average rating of 4.7 out of 5 and I can see why.
Cutwork Sandals

For the feet come these beautiful cut-out patterned sandals. Offered in an E-fit they come in a choice of white or tan and in sizes 4 – 8.
Designed with a thick, flat sole they are perfect for exploring on warmer days. The upper features a laser-cut design with scalloped edges, which I feel in time will soften nicely and move with the foot well. I can definitely see them getting a lot of use over the warmer months.
The Cutwork Sandals come in at £29.
Kim Printed Kimono Cover Up

I had to leave this colourful, bright and cheerful cover up until last, sadly it has been so popular that some sizes (including mine) are on backorder so I don’t have one in my hands to share with you.
However, I just had to show you this piece from Pattern Park, as I think it really shows off the idea behind the collection and would perfectly finish off the outfit idea I had come up with.
This orange delight comes with elbow-length sleeves, is edged with vibrant orange fabric and features and Japanese-inspired print.
It is worth noting this is an online exclusive and is still available to order in sizes 8 -22, with some sizes available to ship now and others on backorder for 4 weeks time. So if you do fall in love with the cover up I would get your order in ASAP.
The Kim Printed Kimono Cover Up comes in at £28.
So there you have one of my favourite outfit ideas from the Patter Park collection at Cotton Traders. However, there is a range of other items to check out including dresses, shirts and so much more.
What do you think of these items?

Those jeans and sandals look super comfy. I am plus size and have never looked at cotton traders before I tend to stick to yours
Yours is so comfy isn’t it – Cotton Traders doesn’t have such a range of sizes it stops around 22 – 24 which is a shame.
These are lovely for summer and I bet they’re super comfortable too!
They are really nice – the kimono has arrived now as well and is lovely too!
I find Cotton Traders jeans are good quality and hard wearing – great wardrobe staples.
I’ve been really impressed by how comfortable they are I have to say.
The kimono looks like the perfect cover-up – both for cooler days and for protecting my sun-sensitive skin.
It really has that feeling where it could come in so useful at different times doesn’t it!
I like Cotton Traders and the Pattern Park collection doesn’t disappoint, I particularly like the Lucy Lace Trim Short Sleeve Jersey Top, perfect for summer days
It is a lovely top for a summer day isn’t it, they have everything you might need for a cooling top going on.
For some reason, this blog is being promoted as one of the best blogs about living with chronic illness. Has the focus of the blog changed to promoting stuff for kickbacks?
“Are you looking for __?” “Are you looking for __?” “Are you looking for __?”
Nothing wrong with using your blog this way, if that’s what you want, but probably shouldn’t be promoting it as having content other than product promotions.
My blog has always been a mix of topics and I’ve never tried to portray it as anything else I’ve always said it is “lifestyle”. I tried once upon a time to niche myself down a bit more but it just doesn’t work as I don’t cope with writing on the same topics all the time. I’m going through a bad time with my health right now and I haven’t fully worked out what’s going on – it’s hard to write about how to cope with things when you aren’t coping when you don’t know what is going on. It also means I’ve prioritised paid work to make sure my bills are paid as it’s either one or the other.
If you only want to view health topics you can easily access them via my drop-down menu. Recently I hosted a post from another blogger on sense-hacking which is a great insight into mindfulness techniques, I’ve got a list of mental health websites for youngsters, ways to manage life with mobility and mental health issues which have all been posted in the past few months.
My health also means I couldn’t work until I started blogging and people wanted to pay me to do this, blogging allowed me to come off of ESA and pay my own way in the world, this is something I have been very open about this – see posts such as “How Blogging Saved My Life”. So yes I do blog about my physical health and mental health issues, but I also cover many other topics which I have always been open and honest about and have always allowed readers to access the content they are after by using my drop-down menu. I’m sorry this blog was a let down to you and not what you were expecting, if you want to let me know where you saw the recommendation I am happy to contact them and ask they perhaps look at changing that if they agree I don’t fit the criteria.
I think everyone is a fan of the kimono here. It definitely shouts Spring and because it is so light, it makes it a great holiday piece too
It is so pretty isn’t it – I love that it is so bright and colourful and perfect for the warmer season coming up.
I was thinking where is the pattern? but the kimono had it in spades!!
I thought the pattern needed to just stand out all on its own, so tried to put more natural things around it.
I buy quite a lot from Cotton Traders. Great quality pieces at a reasonable price. Also great for men’s clothing too. I love the kimono
They do some really lovely things don’t they – I was at a garden centre who stock them the other day so I had a nose around too.
