  1. Another week gone by. I think I am getting quite used to it, but it all changes this week for us. Hang in there x

  2. When the initial lockdown happened, I honestly didn’t think it would go as long as it has. I’m finding it draining.

  3. I can definitely relate with you but I am keeping myself strong for my family. I hope everything will be well soon. I will check out this 7 day free trial of Shudder via Amazon Prime Video!

  4. Oh hun, I can definitely relate to the feeling numb! I go through phases of trying to stay positive, then guilt for the kids who are beyond bored after 5+ months at home and then just numbness. I dont think I want to believe that this “normal” is in fact the new normal. I so regret moaning before when we had all that freedom which I totally took for granted!

    1. I think it will be normal until we have a way to control the virus, at least that’s what I keep telling myself – it’s only for now.

    1. It’s all horror movies so as long as you love horror it’s OK – I’m not sure if I’m going to keep it up long term but might be something I dip in and out of.

  5. Last few weeks I started to rebel. I’m sick of this lockdown. I got to the point I just don’t care. I just want to get out and have life. BUT I know it’s still not safe. I know I have to be responsible. Hang on. We’ll get trough this.

    1. It is hard isn’t it – we know what we should / shouldn’t do and I am being good, but oh my the want to not is huge.

  6. We have finally started leaving the house more often but we still stay away from other people as much as possible.

  7. I was doing ok up until recently when the first day of school was finally announced. Guess I have to stop avoiding it. Bring on anxiety!

  8. Working in a supermarket I see so many people behaving like nothing is wrong and going about their business as if nothing has happened, although we have enjoyed days out, we are still social distancing

  9. I am trying to update some old posts too – it takes so much time doesn’t it? It is so important not to bottle things up.

  10. Sounds like it has been a tough week and you are right, sometimes we just need to talk, via text, sms, whatsapp, chat, email whatever that works so that you feel like there are others there with the same plight as you. Hope this coming week feels much better.

    1. Definitely I don’t think it’s normal for anyone no matter how anti-social you are to stay away from others for so long.

  11. On gosh it’s horrid that it’s going on so long . Just wish it would go away now. I’ve been feeling rebellious too . It’s so hard

    1. It’s so easy to just feel like you want to go and do everything you shouldn’t but also scary.

  12. I’m getting more and more frustrated with the situation, in the supermarkets they have now decided a one way system isn’t needed because of the mask rule, but not everyone can wear a mask, and social distancing is still supposed to be happening, mask or not, but they’ve turned into a free for all. I just wish people would think more about why we are having take these measures and less about their freedoms and liberties, there’s no freedom when you’re on a ventilator!

    1. It seems silly – a one-way system with masks would make things so much easier and you would still go past everything in the store.

  13. My sleep pattern has been all over the places because its too hot, the reality is many people arent following the rules which frustrates me on a daily bases, especially at work when i see people not giving a damn, but they will be the first to moan when we get back into lockdown, Amazon prime is great BTW.

    1. Exactly – I don’t get why people think it’s all over you just know they will be complaining when / if things go downhill again.

  14. I totally understand how you feel. I hope everything goes well for all of us.
I will check out that 7 day free trial of Shudder via Amazon Prime Video today!

  15. Even though some places are having another lockdown, I do like to think that things are definitely getting better. Will we have a second wave? Only time will tell, but I have a feeling that this virus is running its course. Stay safe!

  16. Hang in there! Things are slowly opening up here but we’re not in a hurry to get back to “normal”. We’re still very cautious. But hopeful.

  17. We have been heading out more recently but we are doing so whilst till keeping our distance as much as possible from others.

  18. Another week gone by! I am so tired of the pandemic, and hope we can find a way to make it go away soon. Hang in there!

  19. I understand wanting to be a rebel and just go for it. Sometimes when I am out in my backyard I can forget for a few minutes we are in the middle of a pandemenic.

  20. I totally get the ME and tiredness part you can not describe it. I totally get the feeling of wanting to rebel and just going for it. We have sort of but not fully as too aware of the what ifs. Last week we picked my mother in law up when we went to see my granddaughter, as we pulled up I had to toot her as she was across the road chatting to new neighbours, C just said well that isn’t social distancing

    1. It’s horrid isn’t it – impossible to describe. I think you are right on just having to do some things.
