  1. Just as we thought things were picking up a little there’s now another lockdown In Yorkshire where I live . Lots of people out there not sticking to the rules . I don’t think much of how our government have handled this pandemic

  2. I agree with you. It’s hard to plan anything right now. I miss travelling but I’ll wait till the end 2021 to make decision.

  3. My routine used to help me a lot, but now it’s driving me insane. I’m looking for new ways to break out of it every day!

  4. We are in Wales where masks are only mandatory on public transport. We are being very careful too. Great that you can have your dbt sessions online hope the hard work helps.

  5. Masks are mandatory in shops here now too. And I’ve been spending way too much time on TikTok 😉

  6. What a great idea mind if I join! Omg as for Tik tok we are obsessed in this house it’s a great feel good app and time consumer lol

  7. There are a lot of places around us starting to require masks now. It’s been tough, but we’re handling it. It has been more hard on the kids I’d say though. Not much to do around here with some places not opening up this summer. We’ve been trying to find things to do around the house though.

  8. Was looking forward to staying with my dad this summer but still unsure whether its going to happen or whether to chance it

    1. Definitely I think we all need to look out for those who need us to. I find wearing a mask hard, but I also know I need to.

  11. I love your advice about following what you feel is right, at the end of the day everyone is fighting their own battle so what may work for one person may not work for another.

    1. Definitely – I think mental health comes into play as well, sometimes we need to see someone or have a hug.

  12. I am baffled by people who refuse to wear masks! I stay home as much as possible, but had to go to a doctor’s appointment recently. Although my mask does cause me to feel claustrophobic, I wear it, because it is the right thing to do.

    1. I’m finding the same, I find my breathing is laboured with a mask – I know that’s due to my own panic. But I also feel more comfortable with it now too, I feel a little protected.

  13. I like this “Life in a Lockdown” themed posts. It gives me an insight of how others are coping. I do wish we find a way to end this global crisis. Not fair for the children today. They are missing out on so much, and fearing something they cannot yet fully understand.

    1. I can’t even start to imagine how children are coping – it must be such a strange time for them (it’s hard enough for me as an adult).

  14. We have been doing a lot outside like hikes and mountain biking. It seems to help everyone to get the restless energy out.

  15. I am so glad Ash is feeling a lot better, that’s a relief! I have been spending plenty of time watching TikTok too – always do, haha!

    1. It is a huge relief – he’s pretty wiped out from all it now though. It’s awful I keep watching unboxing lol.

  16. I’ve just started getting into tiktok thanks to my 13 year old! I think it’s going to be a bit of a time waster for me….

  17. I totally agree with do what you feel right doing, I am happier that masks are now compulsory but am getting so angry at those who just ignore the rules and don’t wear them x

    1. Definitely I think it is a big thing – I absolutely HATE wearing mine, sets off my anxiety but I know it is to help others.

  18. I like to watch Tik Tok videos too. My daughter got me started on that. There are some interesting videos, that’s for sure.

    1. I love seeing the things in peoples houses ones! Those unboxing and animals have me stuck on there for hours lol.

  19. I completely agree with your advice – to do what feels right for you and your family and try to stay positive. It has been a really hard ime so we have been trying to keep busy and find time to relax.

    1. I think it is so easy to just feel like everything is on top of you at the moment – we definitely need some self care / relax time.

  20. Nice little blog. Yes the masks coming into force is a big change. Saw you attended a Pokémon event. Would love to take my son. We’ve been playing Pokémon sword on the switch and I’ve been enjoying it as much as him.

    1. It was just one from home – it was on the Pokemon Go App, normally they do them somewhere in the world and people can go and attend but this year they allowed everyone to join from home.

      1. I did the Pokémon go fest did some whilst at work caught to shinys and new pokemon entries on day one and day 2 was 2 shinys and new pokemon entry

        1. Ohh nice! Ash did it a lot of it for me as I can’t concentrate for long. I got a few shinys, I got my first shiny Magikarp and then got a shiny Swablu (I got some others but those were the ones I remember lol).
