    I loved growing up in the 90’s, I remember dancing around and singing the spice girl lyrics as a kid with my sister’s 😂

  2. I think music can bring back more memories if you haven’t listened to it as much since; I’ve never listened to The Spice Girls much, but because they were everywhere back then, their sound is so nostalgic for me now!

    1. The same, I was never a huge fan – friends where, but I perhaps didn’t get into music so much until I found rock later on 😉

  3. Sorry to be a party pooper, but I was never a fan of the Spice Girls music. I’m a Take That fan and missed out on their concert this year. Mind you at £155 a ticket, it was very expensive.

    1. I heard for Spice girls but as I’m from ‘90 generation, I wasn’t be able to enjoy in their hits! But I asked my older sister and she explained to me that they are legends and she was happy when she read your post.

  5. I was a teenager in the 90’s but I went down the Avril Lavigne route rather than Spice Girls, haha!

    1. Haha I have to admit I probably did really. But they do bring in so many feelings for me.

    1. It is amazing isn’t it – it seems to be a thing at the moment groups coming back together.

  7. I was never a big fan of Spice Girls (I guess I was too young to be) but I am not that excited about the reunion frankly. I think some legends are better stay as they are

  9. I’ve been listening to ‘All out 90’s’ on Spotify whilst I work. Not sure I’m getting much completed as I’m too busy singing along to the tunes

    1. Haha it’s one of those times where the songs just get you isn’t it and you just need to sing along.

  11. Ah I LOVE them! I have a couple of favourite memories about the Spice Girls! One is when I was 10 or so, I got a Spice Girls Filofax and I absolutely loved it. It was like, the best present ever!! Haha.

    Another more recent, during my wedding reception, 3 years ago all my close cousins and I sang ‘Say You’ll Be There’ on karaoke and it was the best thing ever!

    I still listen to them now, it makes me happy!

    1. It is amazing the things we loved when were kids isn’t it – sometimes there’s nothing better than a fliofax!

    2. The Spice girls are a big part of my childhood. I was in a,band at youth club and was ginger spice, me and my friends lived in those roles!! Xx

  15. I get so emotional when I think of the Spice Girls too! I never got to go to their concert when I was a little girl and it’s something I definitely want to do if ever they go on tour again.

    1. They are on tour right now! Have been for a couple of weeks now I think, this is all part of it.

  16. Everything in the 90’s was amazing. Spice Girls is one of the living testaments of the era. They are one of the best.

  26. I loved the spice girls! I saw them when I was 16 in concert but it’s all a little blurry thanks to 2 litres of white lightening with my friend. I regret that now!

  27. I LOVE the Spice Girls. I wasn’t as into them when they were big, but their music totally takes me back and make me happy.

    1. It is amazing how things can take us back isn’t it – even if we weren’t such a fan at the time.

  28. I did have a blast in the 90s. I only liked a select number of Spice Girls songs. My friends were obsessed with them though.

  29. I loved the Spice Girls too! I was sporty spice. I would love to see them on tour, I’ll have to see if they’re coming to my city!

  30. I knew some Spice Girls songs, but I didn’t really know much about the band. I got to know them more when Mel hit the reality show scene. (What was she on? Was it Dancing with the Stars?)

    1. I think it was – I have to admit I know she did quite a bit over in the US but I don’t know much about it!

    1. I love the 90s! I miss the days when there was no social media but just tv. I actually wrote an article called “Defining the 90s” and, yes, I argued that it was the Spice Girls that ruled the latter half of the decade.

  33. I grew up with the Spice Girls, they were my heroines as a child and I consumed their songs … hearing them again and seeing them again is pure joy! Ginger Spice Forever!

    1. It is amazing how happy them coming back together has made some people I love seeing the joy from fans.

  34. I loved the Spice Girls when I was a kid. Somewhere out there is a very embarrassing video of me singing and dancing to 2 become 1 when I was about 7/8!

    They were a huge part of my childhood and I would have loved to have seen them in concert. Some of my friends are seeing them tonight in Coventry and I’m so jealous!

  35. Oh my gosh my teenage years were in the 90s and I totally miss them! Something like this would totally bring back all those awesome memories. I cannot believe the Spice Girls are doing this.
