Duvet Covers with a Difference for Spring
It is finally starting to feel a little like Spring has arrived. The days are getting longer, the sun seems to be making the odd appearance in the sky (even if it isn’t warm yet) and some flowers seem to be breaking through. If like me you like changing up your home a little when a new season comes around I have some fun ideas from Vaulia, to help make your bedroom stylish or fun, depending on your preference.

I remember when we moved into the bungalow our neighbour joked we would be painting our bedroom black, and while it isn’t black all over it did end up with one small wall covered in black wallpaper. As such we often seem to go for black and white duvet covers and I think this one with stars on is just really nice, offering quite a simple design, but one which stands out from the crowd as well.

While I’m not sure I would have this in my bedroom, I couldn’t not include this duvet cover set as it is just so fun! What’s more sometimes it can be hard to find fun prints for larger size beds, so I thought it was awesome that this comes in a twin, king and queen size option, which means you could even get it for younger people who have a larger bed (or like me used to move around so much that even though I had a single in my childhood I had a double duvet to keep me covered).

They do have a good variety, I just bought one last year, and also just finished making one. I had been obsessed with finding one I wanted, and searched for months before settling on one, and also then making one. The one I made is nice, but whew it was a lot of work, esp b/c the top was pieced, so I appreciate a well-made store-bought one!

I tend to go for plain duvet covers, but I really like the elephant print cover pictured above, so maybe I should be more adventurous in my choices.

I love the elephant print one, and my five year old daughter would love the emoji one in singe size, although she would be happy with the double size as she sneaks into my bed most nights xXx
I have to admit to being completely confused when it comes to bedding because I don’t know if 100% cotton, Egyptian cotton or a mix of polly cotton is best?…
