How to Create a Stylish Garden
Nothing can quite compare to the sizzle of a BBQ in the summer months, or the laughter of children as they play in the great outdoors. Our gardens undoubtedly provide a space for people to come together to relax, unwind and make wonderful memories together. For this reason, we’re providing informative tips on how to create a stylish garden.
Modern Paving
Large pavers can make a small space appear much larger while creating a modern design that will be the envy of your neighbours. Those wanting to create a contemporary garden to wow guests should consider light-colored, rectangular paving that is both clean and welcoming.
Outdoor Furniture
Create a comfortable space that your family and friends will enjoy from dawn to dusk. The day will quickly turn into night as your guests relax on a comfortable lounge chair, or you can spend many a relaxing day reading a good book or taking a nap in a comfortable hammock. From garden sofas to children’s chairs, find patio furniture that complements your style and budget.
Plant Pots
Plant pots will allow you to showcase beautiful plants and flowers, without having to worry about garden beds growing out of control. We recommend planting birds of paradise, agave, a dragon tree or a mature cycad to create a stylish garden you’ll happily spend many hours in.
Consider the number of plant pots you will need to create a beautiful garden. However, try not to add too many pots into the garden, or it may appear cluttered and unkempt. For instance, instead of investing in many little plant pots, one large pot might be all you need to create a beautiful focal point in an outdoor area.
Add Bamboo
Add a touch of sophistication to a contemporary garden by planting some bamboo. It’s one of the best ways to create a stylish garden, as the tall trunks can create a linear design. What’s more, you can install garden lights under the bamboo trunks to illuminate the plants at night. Another benefit of bamboo is that it can be used to create a natural privacy screen between you and your neighbours.
A Contemporary Garden Shed
Don’t allow your garden to be overrun with too many tools, chairs or garden toys. Store all the items away in a contemporary garden shed that complements your exterior, while eliminating clutter throughout your outdoor space. Here you can store everything from a lawnmower, hedge trimmer, brooms and rakes, which are easily accessible when you are feeling a little green-fingered.
Outdoor Lighting
There is no reason why you can’t enjoy your garden in the day or the night with beautiful outdoor lighting. An outdoor table lamp is ideal for those wanting to create intimate lighting in their garden, while step lights will ensure you won’t trip or fall in the dark. From stylish floor lamps to outdoor ceiling fans that will cool you down in the summer months, there is a design to suit every need and budget.
