Top Trainer Picks for May
I live my life switching between two types of footwear since my mobility has decreased and that is ballerina flats and trainers (though I do often dream of wearing other kinds). I also have to wear special insoles in my shoes, which of course adds another issue to the shoe buying fiasco. However, that doesn’t mean I don’t love to own all different pairs within the parameters I can work with and here are a few of the final choices on my trainer’s wishlist.
ASH Majestic
I’m not normally someone who goes for white (that being said my current pair is a mix of white and black). However, this pair from Ash at Spartoo really caught my eye. Just check out those stars around the heel, though I think perhaps I’m a little too old for such a style now.
Ippon Vintage Captain Bird
I never go for just plain trainers, if I’ve got to wear them most of the time, they better look different as well and this pair which includes a vintage style bird pattern are great. They are most definitely heading toward the top of my list, now I just might need to save a bit to buy them.
Armani Jeans Gaskato
I totally love the darker colour of this pair from Armani Jeans, it really goes back to my love having everything in a dark colour. However, the different texturing around the trainers really make it stand out against it being just a solid block of colour.
adidas Originals Stan Smith
adidas Originals are the trainers I most often end up buying, they can offer some really fantastic colour variations and they seem to fit me well. This particular pair are definitely ticking the boxes when it comes to design and I would have already had them, but sadly they aren’t in my size.

Armani jeans is my fav. I don’t wear much colour so this is perfect!
Those start print ones. be still my beating heart! I’m pretty sure I’m older than you and I would wear them sadly I can’t justify the price but might have to keep my eye out for a sale x

I tend to go for the darker colours too so I would probably say the Armani ones are my fave but I do really like the pops of colour in the rest!
I am loving all of these shoes! I need to get myself a new pair of sneakers, I never thought to go bold with the design. But I really like these.

Love the star print on the first pair. I’m not very adventurous with my trainer choices, I always stick with Skechers but I do like to have a bit of colour. Can’t bare a plain pair personally

Oh dear, I’m afraid to get started with even just one pair. They’re all so cute! I’m a Converse girl through and through, so these are right up my alley. I’m partial to the paisley pair .. or the black and whites!

I like the one with the Paisley design. I love it because it would not be difficult to pair it with my jeans and top. If I could, I would love to have all of them though. They are all so pretty!

I am ashamed to say I don’t even own ONE pair of trainers anymore! If I need some I would definitely go for the star bedecked Ash Majestic ones xx
I have to confess I don’t own a pair of trainers but I do like the black and grey pair, I love the textured detailing. It is great that they work ok with your mobility x

Look at all those colors and patterns! I admit I am very predictable and to some boring when it comes to sneakers. I prefer them white, as much white as possible and ideally solid.
All of them look so fashionable and stylish! I love the ones with the stars especially. Would love to wear them all. I have a huge collection and keep adding more! lol

I have to admit I often wait until they are about to give in as they are too comfortable.
I try to buy trainers with a good ankle supports; most of my ones and higher so my feet are more stable but I do like your choices, especially Majestic ones, love the star pattern.
I have to admit before I had specialist insoles I always went for ones with good arch support, interesting how everyone likes different things.

adidas do some awesome shoes, they always surprise me with the amount of patterns they come out with.
These are all great sneakers! I love any kind of comfy sneaker for every day use. I think I have a closet full.
I have to admit they are most of the time my go to footwear.
These are so different from the styles I see out and about on my travels. I must look at getting a pair as mine have been worn out and need to be laid to rest.

There is something nice about managing to get something a little different from the norm isn’t there.
Almost my entire shoe collection is made out of trainers because I can’t really walk on heels and I like being comfortable. I really like the selection you’ve made, they are all so pretty with the patterns on them. I like best the ASH Majestic pair, I love the stars.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one, I used to have a few pairs of heels many years ago but never any high ones, more block heels for me lol

These are some great look shoes. Really like all the different prints and patterns. Something for everyone to choose from. Paisley is actually my favorite.
A lot of people seem to be liking the Paisley, it is definitely a very vibrant design.
I used sneakers that are comfortable to wear all day long as I work standing up in a school. For me, the color gives me the added touch I want to be stylish.
Oh gosh yes you need something very comfy when your on your feet all day!
I usually go for black trainers but I love those with the stars on 🙂
I think black is a very common colour to go for, I normally go for a base of black with colour on top if I can

Oh my gosh, I LOVE that Paisley print! I need to get some trainers just to wear casually. I have so many work shoes my down time shoe collection is suffering Lol!
