TOMS that work for a party
I can’t remember when I first came across TOMS it was definitely a long while back and ever since I have pondered getting myself a pair, I was held back by the fact they are different. The shape and style is quite far from anything I have worn before and I did worry that perhaps the more squared toe would mean I would need to size up and they would look large and awkward on my feet.
So I put off buying a pair, that was until Sole Trader got in touch and asked if I wanted to review something and on searching their website I came across this pair, which while made in the classic TOMS design, happen to be just perfect for a dressier look due to the lace and glitter finish.
Personally I went for a size 6 as the website says they are true to size and I found a 6 does fit length wise, however I do have wide feet and I found while I could get them on it was quite a squeeze as they don’t have much give to them, so as such I am working on trying to stretch them, just a little, in time for Christmas and as such I would definitely suggest if you have wider feet trying these on before you buy.
To get an idea on comfort I’ve had someone else wearing them around and about and in feedback they have said they really are comfortable as you don’t feel as though you are really wearing shoes and you certainly wouldn’t have any issues dancing the night away in them come party season.
This particular pair of TOMS classics in pewter cost £41.99 and can of course be brought from Sole Trader where a couple of sizes are already sold out, so if you like the look and know they will fit I would certainly look to grab a pair soon.

These TOMS are so snazzy and perfect for wearing to a party. I love that they are blinded out.
I’m not a massive fan of Toms, they just don’t work with my feet for some reason but I know so many people who swear by them. I think these ones are pretty cool, they’re growing on me already.
This is definitely a different look for Toms I love the gritty aesthetic that these shoes bring different to the sports apparel theme that they normally favour!

I love those! Perfect with a dress up look with jeans or a dressy look with a skirt or dress. They are really reasonably priced too!
I haven’t heard of them before, but they looks lovely. I love the look and the different vibe they have, but having wide feet myself I think I will have the same problem as you did. Shame.
I haven’t got any toms yet but my friend had a lovely pair in the other day and it made me think that they should be my everyday shoe choice for the summer. x

They look like funky slippers to me, or like boat shoes. I don’t think I’ve heard of Toms, but, they look comfy as anything.

My 17 year-old daughter and her friends all wear Toms – they love them. I haven’t tried them myself, but these look like a great option for the party season, especially if (like me) you don’t feel comfortable in heels.
Those are super cute. I have a pair of pink sparkly ones that are kind of fancy.
I dont know if it is just me, but I am not a fan of Toms. I found them very slim fit and they made my feet look old!
I haven’t worn Toms before but I’ve worn something similar called Flossys and I must say, they were incredibly comfortable! xx
I’ve heard that Toms are really comfy but I am yet to try them. I did see a cute pair for my little boy though!
Oh my goodness! I love these! That is really not something I say very often about shoes!! I hate shopping for them too so buying on line would be a real bonus!!

I was the same as you and unsure of these shaped shoes as I’d always bought sandals and boots, although not TOMS I bought a cheaper pair last summer and they are so comfy, I love the design of these, and look much better quality, I would consider paying the extra for these xxx
Toms are quite popular where I live, I’ve seen plenty of people in them but never in such a jazzy design!
I have the same thoughts about Toms! I keep seeing them on other people and they look great but I imagine they’d look horrible on me, when I’m sure they wouldn’t, I really must try some on!
I’ve never heard of Toms before. I have very narrow feet so only lace up shoes and boots really fit me. These do look very smart but practical for a night out.
I absolutely love these Toms. I would wear them all the time, not just parties. I said goodbye to heels a long time ago 🙁
I love Toms but I’ve never owned a pretty pair like these. I tend to wear them in the summer although I did have a pair of Toms boots last winter.

Love the style of these! I’ve often wondered about getting some Toms, but haven’t been to sure, as it’s not quite my style either. But these look quite lovely and dressy. Nice to not feel like your wearing shoes either x
