  3. I’m guilty of running a dryer sheet over my hair to reduce static. I’ve also used conditioner as shave gel. So much cheaper and works well.

  4. I would never have thought of using tumble dryer sheets to tame my wild locks, but, when you think about it, it actually makes perfect sense! I wonder how many other brilliant ideas there are in the laundry cupboard waiting to be discovered?!

  8. Dryer sheets to make your hair stay put! I love it. I probably would like this more than hairspray. Lots of great tips here and I would have never thought to use Vaseline for blisters.

  9. When my sister was younger, my mom used to put fabric softener sheets in her hair. It works but she also went bald in some spots!

  10. Great tips. I am going to have to use the bathtub and nail polish one. I didn’t know that and my shaving cream tends to leave the rust ring on my shower.

  11. Love the tips especially the clear varnish to coat the bottom of metal tins left near the bath. Now how do I get rid occurs Mark’s? Wish I had known this before.

  12. I never knew about putting oats in your bath to help relieve bug bites. I will definitely have to try it out, as it’s still summer where I live and every night I get bitten by mosquitos.
