Heal Gel Body: Review
Added a few months ago to the Heal Gel range, was Heal Gel body, a light gel, that is suitable for daily use, it looks to provide calming and regenerative properties, bring relief to irritated areas and help your skin retain moisture all day long. It features ingredients such as arnica and madecassoside liposomes.
If you missed any of my previous reviews on Heal Gel they are a company that has been set up by some of the most revered plastic surgeons, with the help of a dermatological biochemist, they use their knowledge to came up with products, just perfect for everyone as it looks to work at the skins base layer to help protect, heal and hydrate.
Previously I have used both Heal Gel eye and face – both of which left favourable impressions, so I was really interested to find out how I found this one stood up to the others.
Heal Gel Body has a fresh fragrance, which to me seemed to have a bit of a citrus edge to it. When it comes to the product itself, it is anything but your average body lotion, offering a light cream colour gel, which is easily absorbed into the skin and offers a cooling effect.
It is perhaps the perfect summer body product, as it works wonderfully on burnt skin. Most definitely not a reason to burn yourself, but if you do at least you know you have a good, cooling product to hand.
I have also found it works wonders on tired, aching legs, if you use in a gentle massaging motion around the muscles, the motion and the cooling effect work well to relieve the tension.
The price of Heal Gel Body (£39.50 for 100ml) means personally this is something I would only use on occasion, as while as a gel it will last longer than a lotion or butter, it is at a price point I couldn’t afford very often.
However if you do have skin that needs some TLC, burns easily or just want to give a new and fantastic body gel a try – then head over to the Heal Gel website to find out more information and treat yourself.
What do you think of the sound of Heal Gel Body? Is it a gel you think you might like?

Never heard of this before. I’ll have to read up on this range and check it out.
I love the packaging! Will defo check it out if I see it in store x
very interesting thanks for a fab review i will have to give it a try 🙂
I haven’t seen this brand before but I’m always looking for a good body lotion to keep my skin soft.
I had not heard of this before. It sounds effective but a little on the expensive side for me.
This sounds like a fantastic product. I have never heard of it but I would love to try it!
I like the look of it, but at that price it will be used only occasionally.
I’ve never heard of the brand before. I used to balk at spending that sot of money on skincare, but after splurging out once I really saw the difference decent skincare makes, so would be tempted to buy this!
Pricey yes- but if it worked on my c-section scar- worth every penny
This looks great although quite pricey. I would definitely look for it as something to take away on holiday.
I think I need to look at this range, never heard of it before.
Sounds lovely but is a bit too pricey for me
I have never heard of this line. I would probably use it though.
I think this look like a great product if you have cracked feet.
This would probably be a good choice for my husbands feet. They are so tender and cracked at times.
I have never heard of this. I definitely could use something like this for my body.
I think I Might have to try this. Heading over to buy some.
I would love that it has a fresh fragrance with a bit of a citrus edge to it. That is exactly my kind of skin care product. In addition, it seems to do the job without the greasy after feel. I would love to try it.
Oh I could do with the hand version! x
I’ve never heard of this before and wonder if it’s only available in the UK. Seem a bit pricey as well but if it works then that’s great.
Sounds like a great product, but the price is a little higher than I can afford – this would be one of those things I treat myself with once and awhile. I love the bottle, very simplistic and informative.
Does it work on chapped hands?
Do you think this would help with shingles?
Thanks for the review! I wouldn’t buy it because of the price but at the same time I’m not using lots of cosmetics too so it may be worth trying 🙂
This is the only product I am yet to try from the range and so far I have been so impressed with everything x
Sounds like something we’d like to have handy for those days where we forget to get out of the sun…
I don’t know whether or not Rachel has this, I definitely recognise the name though. Personally I haven’t tried any of the products, more through fear that she will find out 😉
At that price I am not sure I would buy it often…I do get dry skin so may be worth trying. Thanks for sharing
I have had some Healgel face and thought it was fab. I am sure the body will be just as good
This sounds fab although I agree with you that it’s not something I would buy regularly x x
I’ve never heard of Heal Gel before this. That definitely does sound like a good product though.
love HealGel products – especially the Eye one… this one’s great too
Very interesting, I am going to buy some. Thanks for the review. ♥
