5 Things to do in Ibiza
Ibiza is well known for clubbing, a place where people go to just relax, drink and party. However, that isn’t all there is to do there, Ibiza is actually a beautiful place, with a lot of history, making it a lovely place to visit no matter what you fancy doing.
Here are my top 5 things to do in Ibiza:
Ibiza Castle
Set in the old town of Ibiza this beautiful Renaissance castle, is a world heritage site and a must visit for all those who have an interest in history and historic buildings. You are able to walk around a lot of the site, including the battlements and cathedral. Do however be warned that you need to be ready to climb a bit to reach this area.
Cala Comte
If you are after a place to have a dip in the Mediterranean and then relax and watch the sunset Cala Comte is the place to head to. It offers a beautiful beach area, with a crystal clear sea. Making it the perfect place to chill out (though be warned it can get busy).
Ibiza Markets
What is a holiday without a bit of shopping? I know I love looking around local establishments and seeing what souvenirs I can pick where ever I happen to be and Ibiza’s Hippy Markets are the perfect place to have a nose around and pick up a few things to pop in your suitcase.
Boat Tour
Fancy seeing Ibiza from a bit of a different view? Then how about taking advantage of the boat tours that run around the island. All you need to do is just sit back and enjoy the scenery.
Ibiza Caves
Finding the heat of the day too much? Then why not head down to the caves of Ibiza, originally used by smugglers to hide contraband, they are now a visitor attraction and if you look closely enough you can even see the markings that helped the smugglers find their way in the dead of night.
So go on why don’t you treat yourself to the sights of Ibiza, this year.

Good article, Caves watch out for people taking pictures with they tablets as you end up looking at everything through they screen as they take up so much room!
I didn’t visit any of these places when I went last year. Although I did do a boat cruise but it was more of the party boat cruise variety!
That cannon spot really makes me giddy to go up there and take pictures! Overall, a good place no doubt, good recommendation!
I went to Ibiza many moons ago before kids and I loved it, even made it to the Castle. I have been toying with the idea of going back next year with the kids but my OH isn’t convinced that it won’t be full of hardcore clubbers. I might have to show him this to try and change his mind 🙂
I hear Ibiza is freaking stunning. I would love the opportunity to go and visit. I’m sure everything there just adds to an already incredible experience.

It looks like Ibiza is not only the famous party town but it also has places to visit. I don’t like partying till morning so thank you for giving me other reasons to go to Ibiza.
never been to Ibiza. I always associated it with 18-30 holidays. But there looks like there is so much more to it than that. Would love to go an explore the caves

I have heard of Ibiza but have not ever visited this place. The pictures are absolutely beautiful and I would love to take the whole family on a vacation here.
I have toured places in Europe but I have not been to Ibiza yet. I would love to see their beaches and see what nice things I can get at the market. I will have to remember to visit when I get to have a chance to have a vacation in Spain.
