10 Great Home Hacks to Help You Out.
One of the great things about household items is they can often be used for different things. For instance, there are many everyday objects which are used within these 10 home hacks.
So to hopefully give you some new ideas which might help you out here are some home hacks from me to you:
Bicarbonate of Soda

You use it in your cooking, but did you know it also makes a fantastic cleaner?
All you need to do is sprinkle some onto the surface you wish to clean, and rub at it with a damp cloth and tadah – you have clean tiles, bath, or sink (it works wonders on tea stains as well).
You can even find how to clean your washing machine with it in this post.
White Vinegar
Let your washing up sit for a bit too long and all the leftovers are stuck to the pan?
Well fear not as grab your trusty bottle of white vinegar, add to warm water and leave for around 30 minutes and you should find it easy all easy as pie to remove.
It is already really useful when it comes to helping you to remove limescale from toilet.
Lemon Juice

Lemon juice can be a wonderful help when cleaning the microwave, the citric acid in it can help cut through grease and grime.
Use 2 or 3 tablespoons of lemon juice or a wedge of lemon added to water, then heat for long enough to create steam.
Leave for around 10 minutes and then remove the bowl and wipe around and you should find everything clean, sparkling and lemon fresh (repeat steps as necessary).
Ketchup
Any copper around your home starting to look a bit dull, well how about using ketchup to help it look brighter?
Add on the tarnished spots, rub lightly and hopefully watch the sparkle come back. (Ketchup is also amazing if your dog rolls if fox pee – Sal tested that one out quite a few times over her time with us).
Rubber Gloves
Do you have a dog and end up with dog hairs everywhere?
Pop on a pair of rubber gloves rub them over your chairs or rugs and watch the dog hair come away (just keep a hoover or dustpan near to pop it all in).
Rubber Bands

Redecorating your home? Sick of paint dripping everywhere?
Then place a rubber band around the paint can and use it to wipe the brush to remove excess paint drips.
Beeswax
Brought some new canvas shoes, worried about what the English weather will do to them?
Then worry no more, rub them over with some beeswax to hopefully make them waterproof, for when those English showers hits.
Cupcake Cases
When you are enjoying an ice lolly in the summer, don’t you just get annoyed with it dripping down your hands?
I know I do, so banish those drips (or a least keep them off your hands) but placing a cupcake case around the stick of your lolly.
Old Pen Springs
Use an old pen spring around the end of cables to extend the life of them, by stopping them from bending too far.
