Wooden Storage Trunk – The Basket Company: Review
I remember when my Mum first brought a storage trunk for my bedroom, I was so excited, I felt there was something special about them.
Perhaps due to the fact they would often be referenced in books, as containing untold treasures and while I would always know what was in mine, it felt amazing to actually own one.
That trunk now sits in my parents landing – I wonder what it is in it these days.
When I came across this wooden storage trunk from The Basket Company it reignited my love for them and I knew one just had to be mine.
This beauty is covered in vintage style birds and butterflies and is available in a number of different sizes; this particular one is a medium and comes in at 49cm x 28cm x 24cm and is just perfect for tucking by the side of your bed or in a corner of a room.
I adore the fact this trunk keeps the antique feel going all the way through, with even the clasp and handles looking as though they could easily have popped out of a Victorian story.
But although it looks old, this trunk is as sturdy as they come.
The handles easily hold the weight and it feels completely safe as you carry it from room to room in your hands.
For me, this will be my trunk to keep my treasures (also known as my blog work) in.
After all, I think it will definitely keep all those items safe and sound and I have to admit it brightens my day when I look at it as well.
This gorgeous wooden trunk in a butterfly and bird design is, of course, available from The Basket Company and costs between £30 and £95 with the medium size coming in at £50.
What do you think of this trunk, is it one you would love to have in your home?

I was given a trunk from The Basket Company free of charge to help with this review. My views are as always honest.
