WOLF Jewellery Box Review

For those who visit my blog often (thank you), it’s not much of a secret I love jewellery.

One thing I don’t own however, is enough room to store it properly.

Yes OK, I pop the overflow of my other jewellery boxes in a draw. However good jewellery should really have a special place, where it can be kept in good condition. So when I was contacted by the lovely people at WOLF to see if I would like to check out a piece of their range, I knew it would be the perfect addition to my collection.

WOLF’s jewellery box collection features a whole host of different boxes. From small perfect for holiday ones to larger ones perfect for storing all your gems inside. In fact many of WOLF’s jewellery boxes coming in matching styles. However, never fear if you happen to be more of a watch person; as they also sell boxes that are perfect for holding your collection, as well as watch winders.

Who are WOLF?

They are a company that came to life back in 1834 and has now passed through 5 generations of the Wolf family. With the brand’s ethos,  ethics and passion for the work they are doing having being passed through each one. They specialise in, of course, jewellery boxes, with the years behind them guiding them towards the unique and varied range you see today.

I was personally sent the small Chloe Jewellery Box in black by WOLF to look at and I was blown away by how beautiful of a box this is. Just look at that leather exterior; which has been beautifully made with a design that in my mind, evokes the ideas of flowers, thanks to the cut pattern that features around this box.

The small Chloe Jewellery Box measures: 21cm in width by 14cm depth by 11.5cm in height.

I have to say with all honestly to me this is your average size jewellery box. As it comes in at around the same size as others in my collection.

So please do not be put off by the word small, as I for one certainly wouldn’t see it that way.

The box is opened by turning the gold-coloured detail lock clockwise and then pulling the flap towards you and up. Once inside you will find a carefully laid out storage area which includes:

The first thing I noticed personally was the mirror which is fitted to the roof of the box, allowing you to see how your jewellery looks on with ease. While the area under it features three ring rolls and 3 storage compartments. With the one under the ring rolls having its own small lid, which features the WOLF logo on it and is again finished with gold coloured detailing.

Another three compartments are hidden behind the front of the box. To access them you just need to gently pull the front of the box down and towards you and then pull out the small draws.

You will find one of the two boxes contains two compartments, while the other is singular. Offering you different sized areas to allow you to keep your jewellery in the best space for it.

LusterLoc

The inside of the box is fitted with LusterLoc. This is an innovative material that helps keep your jewellery from looking lacklustre. It has been made from years of research into what can help your jewellery from tarnishing. Amazing in typical storage conditions LusterLoc can help prevent tarnishing for 35 years.

Overall Thoughts on WOLF

Personally I am over the moon with the Small Chloe Jewellery Box. Not only is it beautiful to look at, but there has obviously been a lot of thought and ingenuity having gone into the layout and features. If you fancy treating yourself to one of these boxes this one, in particular, comes in at £99. While that is a pretty penny. This box is really something that will care for your jewellery in the years to come. As such in my mind is worth the investment.

  12. My Mum is OBSESSED with buying certain TV shopping channels’ jewellery, she would wet her pants if I showed her the Marrakesh zip case, she could buy a good few of them and colour coordinate, she has a bit of every colour and more!

  176. I do like the Marrakesh Zip Case. I never seem to have anything decent to put my jewellery in for traveling. Usually rely on old boxes with an elastic band

  308. I absolutely love the Marrakesh range. I have lots of jewellery, I’m a bit of a magpie, so I would choose MARRAKESH LARGE JEWELLERY BOX as my favourite item. I would probably prefer the white one as opposed to the black.
