The Moongazing Hare – Stained Glass Suncatchers

I don’t think it’s a secret I absolutely love supporting small businesses and I thought it would be fun to share some of my favourites with you over a number of weeks. Last week was all about Glitters and Stickers and this week I delve into a small business I have loved for a while now, The Moongazing Hare.
The Moongazing Hare
Based in Stone, The Moongrazing Hare is a small business I encountered at a local artisan market. Since then I have gone on to buy a number of her beautiful suncatchers both for myself and as gifts.
As well as local markets across the Staffordshire area, Laura also sells on Etsy and you can sometimes catch some sales stories over on her
The suncatchers she makes are all made by hand and use the most incredible pieces of glass. She honestly has such a collection of colours and textures with which she makes her items.
Since I first bought a piece my collection has grown to include; a bee, dog, moon and mushrooms all of which hang in different areas around the home. After all, they don’t need to just be hung in the window to look their best.
I personally think Laura’s items are so well made and the way she works with both the colours and texture of glass to create unique designs is wonderful.
For all the work that would have gone into each piece the prices are really good as well, with items such as the bee and honeycomb starting at just £19.

I have fallen in love with the stained glass bear suncatcher. It’s stunning. Firstly the shades of blue and white really captures the cold bleak north pole and secondly, it’s beautifully crafted. I love the shape of the bear, its nose sticking out and it’s stance.
These are absolutely stunning I have faved their shop. The Moon is my fave, it just speaks to me the most it is beautiful
My favourite is the stained glass iridescent suncatcher of the moon phases. It would look great with my goth / witchy ornaments.
