STEAMCREAM: Review
I was first introduced to STEAMCREAM a while ago, I believe through one of the long gone beauty boxes which for a while I was so addicted to and I do have to admit introduced me to some fantastic brands, of which STEAMCREAM is one, in fact since coming across it I have even brought tins to give as presents, to hopefully introduce other to this wonderful brand.
Before I go talking about the cream I have an admission – I may have started collecting the STEAMCREAM tins, I mean who couldn’t fall in love with at least a couple of the designs they offer and with new ones being brought in throughout the year even if you think you have finally ‘collected them all’ you are bound to at some point fall for another one.
The above tin is named PRECIOUS and is a new addition to the STEAMCREAM collection, featuring a mix of fuchsia, lilac and pale pink flowers, it is just the perfect casing for the cream you will find inside.
STEAMCREAM is an all-over body cream being suitable for body, face and hands – it is made using a unique steam process, one that doesn’t take fancy machinery and helps keep all the goodness of the natural ingredients of the cream such as orange flower water, oatmeal and vegetable glycerine, almond oil, jojoba oils and cocoa butter locked in, each day the cream is handmade both in Poole in the UK and Atsugi, Japan before it is sold across the world.
For me, STEAMCREAM has a gorgeous fragrance, though it is one that people seem to either love or hate, as it features a break through scent of lavender, something worth taking into consideration before deciding if you should buy.
When it comes to the cream it offers a light and non-greasy application, which is quickly absorbed into the skin, leaving behind a smooth, silky feeling and allows you skin to feel hydrated for hours – making it perfect for any especially dry spots you may happen to suffer from.
My one bugbear with the cream is the size, you are looking at 75g tin having an RRP of £12.95, so although it is an all over body cream and as much as I would love to use it all over it just isn’t a cost effective to do such a thing, however if you use it to tackle problem areas, or as a face cream it really is worth it (so I guess it comes down to how you would want to use it).
If you want to find out more about STEAMCREAM, treat yourself to a tin or just have a nose pop over to the website now.
What do you think of my tin, would you like to try STEAMCREAM?

the tins are gorgeous and a real pull to buying the product

I’ve just started using this, I really hope that it works well for me and is okay with my oily skin. I want it to work purely because my love of the tins! x
i have been lucky enough to try this and its delightful x
This sounds like a great moisturizer! Crazy how as you begin getting a little older your hands start getting dryer especially in the winter and when you have to wash them a lot. So a great cream is needed by many!
I love lavender, so I am sure I would love this. Sounds wonderful
My mom loves lavender, so I bet she would love the scent. I plan on making her a mothers day gift basket, and this would make a perfect addition.
Wow, fabulous tin! I’d go as far as to reuse it!
You have me hooked, I want to try this now.
That container is just too cute! I would love to try something that could work for body and face. I have to buy 2 separate products right now.
The cream sounds wonderful but I really like the tin even better.
I love the tin. Sounds like an amazing product and I think I would like to try it
That tin is adorable. Yes, I would love to try it!
I love the tin that it comes in, so pretty! The cream itself sounds perfect too, I really need a new moisturizer.
I love the tin and the many uses for this cream. My hands get so dry throughout the day that I am always looking for something to moisturize them with.
this sounds wonderful
I love the tin it is so cute 🙂
I need a nice way to treat myself. Its been an emotional couple of days.. Thank you for this review. I think I need this product!
The tin is gorgeous! I noticed it immediately since those are my favorite colors. I like that the cream leaves skin feeling hydrated for hours because mine is super dry/flaky. I love lavender so this would be good for me.
That has a very cute container. I’m not a huge fan of the super floral so I appreciate your mention of the lavender. I’d have to smell this to know.
I can see why you collect the tins, they’re cute. I’m guessing I’d love the scent too. I don’t mind lavender at all (which is a new thing, because I used to not care for it).
I love that you can use this cream all over your body so it serves many purposes.
Tins are very cute looking I would be addicted to them too. Your very lucky you got to review for them. I love reviewing makeup, lotions and anything girly. You got a great deal too the prices are not too bad.
Love the container. I always like to try new lotions 🙂
I would not only love to try it, but I would love to use it every day so I can collect those cute tins, too!
Love that tin – I thought it was a cake at first glance!
I love Steamcream – their tins are so cute and the cream really makes my skin feel soft!
Oooh looks nice, loving the fact its non-greasy. I could see me using that up very quickly.
Love the tins (bit of a sucker for attractive packaging). I’m always on the lookout for new creams to try for my dry skin, might give this a go.
The one I got the cream didn’t look like that…no wonder I didn’t like it lol
I would really like to try this, i always have trouble finding a good quality cream/lotion for all over so i normally end up buying one for face/hands and body lol!!!
Can make up be applied after putting on the cream?
Thanks 🙂
