Skin Chemists Review: Biphase Serum
I have really neglected my skin and it is starting to show with wrinkles forming, especially around my eyes which I seem to always be squinting out of.
Partly that has been due to laziness and the other part due to my health.
So I’ve been trying to kick the lazy side into touch and knuckle down with making sure I take care of my skin.
I honestly can say as well, that I have noticed a difference; my pores are smaller, my acne isn’t quite so prominent and my skin feels smoother.
One of the products I have been using lately is a selection of serums from Skin Chemists.
Skin Chemists.

Skin Chemists are part of the skinResearch family; founded with the idea to offer scientific skincare, they have research centres both in the UK and Florida. While their products are sold across the world.
They pride themselves on offering skincare which can help with making your skin look and feel younger.
I was sent 3 serums from their range to try out.
Pure Caviar 5% Biphase Serum.
This offering comes in the blue packaging and offers, as you might have guessed, a 5% active caviar extract.
This ingredient has been found to help strengthen the skins natural barrier, helping protect the skin from free radical damage. While brightening the skin and fighting fine lines.
I think for me this is has played a big part in reducing the size of my visible pores.
One thing I like about all of these serums is how quickly they absorb into the skin. This is due to the fact they have been made using smaller molecules and as such are easier to absorb.
The Pure Caviar 5% Biphase Serum comes in at £39.90.
Pure Collagen 5% Biphase Serum.

Next up we have the pink bottle and which includes two layers; the first collagen and the second water.
Collagen offers a smoothing effect to the skin and helps lock in moisture, which can help towards more youthful-looking skin. It can also help with the visibility of scarring, which as someone who has suffered from spots since I was about 10 and has self-harmed by cutting my face, is something that comes in handy.
I can’t pinpoint something this exact serum has helped with, my skin is overall looking better and I hope things like my scarring isn’t so visible. So perhaps I can attribute some that to this serum.
Once again the Pure Collagen 5% Biphase Serum comes in at £39.90.
Pure Hyaluronic Acid 2% Biphase Serum.
Last up in the green corner we have the pure hyaluronic acid serum.
Using a mix of water and hyaluronic acid this particular serum is perfect for those who suffer from redness. While it can also help calm dermatitis.
It is also good for helping the skin retain water and helping to strengthen the skins natural oil barrier.
I have to admit it wasn’t until I re-read what each serum offers, that I noticed it mentioned about redness. One thing I have really noticed a difference with is the redness of my face, especially around my nose over the past few months.
Unsurprisingly the Pure Hyaluronic Acid 2% Biphase Serum comes in at £39,90.
Overall Thoughts.

I should probably mention, these serums separate when left to sit. Therefore before use, always give them a good shake, then use the pipette to dispense a couple of drops.
As you can use multiple serums at ones (it is recommended no more than 3, but I normally use 2 at a time), I have been layering these when it comes to usage, so it is hard to know on its own what each serum has done. Perhaps I should have used them one-by-one, however, this worked best for me.
That said, as I mentioned above my skin is less red, my pores are less noticeable and my skin most definitely feels smoothed and looks clearer. All of which can be attributed in different parts to these serums.
As such I have to say I am pleased with the outcome of using these serums. It has really shown me what sticking to a routine can do to my skin and hopefully, this is something I can keep up.
What do you think of the sound of these serums from Skin Chemists, would you like to try them out?

I received the items shown in this post free of charge for the purpose of this review. This, however, doesn’t affect my opinions which are as always honest.

These SKIN CHEMISTS BIPHASE SERUM sound great, I have never used skin chemist before but these sound great 🙂
Menopause hasn’t been very kind to my face. I would really love to try the Pure Collagen Serum.
It is so nice honestly if you have a chance give it a try.
These sound great! It’s always nice to hear about first hand experience before trying something new. Might be worth a try!
Definitely I’ve been impressed with how it has worked with my skin.
Always pleased to read candid and thorough reviews of products that I have heard of but not tried. Thank you. Serums are the understated heroes of skincare as far as I am concerned. They are the foundation for everything that is applied afterwards.
They are great aren’t they – I have definitely be changed to feel like they need to be part of a routine.
I’ve just run out of my beloved Tropic products so really need to look at some new skin care items, these look like they could be a good idea to try.
These are really good I have to say, which Tropic products do you like? I’ve tried their super greens and that was good.
I love using Hyaluronic acid on my skin its so red from acne
I would try them. I’m 50 and I am blessed with a good compexion but I do notice some age spots.
My Mums in her 70s and her skin is so good – I can only hope! LOL
these sound so nourishing
They really are good! I love how quickly they soak in too!
Skincare is a must, it is our biggest organ and yet we neglect it so much at times.
I used a skin chemist chemical peel a few years ago and was quite impressed, so would love to try this range too
I’ve not tried their chemical peel, perhaps I will have to give it a try! Thank you.
I’m in my mid 40’s now and it’s really starting to show. I like trying new products but had never heard of these before. Can’t wait to try them.
They are well worth a go – I have another review of another serum and their night cream coming soon.
They sound good, I often neglect my skin, which is losing its firmness and has the beginnings of rosecea
Oh no I have rosacea as well – or was diagnosed with it at the same time as fibro which was a surprise. It’s not so red these days thankfully.
I would love to try this! Unfortunately my skin is very sensitive so I’m scared anything different to what I usually use will end up irritating it!
Oh gosh yeah I totally understand that 🙁 I’ve had some horrid skin issues after trying certain products.
ooOoo this is really interesting. I have been looking for something that would help with the redness on my face and I have dermatitis as well – so big bonus there!! 🙂 Thank you. Dharma x
Honestly, it wasn’t something that outright stuck me but actually my nose was red and now it isn’t (I just didn’t like to think about it before haha).
My skin could really do with this at the moment, sounds like a great product
There’s nothing like something wonderful and nourishing for your skin is there?
Babushka’s glad that you’ve found something that works and that you’ve stopped selfcutting.
Living in Florida, BB will look up Skin Chemists/skinResearch and see if they have local disributors. Gracias for the intro.
You’re so welcome, and thank you, I try hard with my self-harming I still do but not my face now for a long time.
Oh I love the look of these!. I’m always on the look out for trying out new products, and these sound amazing
I am awful for loving new products – just keep on trying different things until something clicks.
My eldest is a big fan of skincare, makeup etc, and is always on the lookout for new product to test and see how she gets on with, ill recommend these to her.
It’s such fun getting to play with new bits! I wish I had been better at it earlier in life.
I have not paid much attention to skin care this past few weeks. I think it is time to level up my game and use awesome skin care products like these ones you’ve reviewed. I really do not like to look older than I actually am!
Good luck! It’s so easy to just slip out of that routine at times isn’t it?
I’m glad that you found something that works well for you!
Thank you so much 🙂
I would really like to try some of these out. My skin is always up to new things.
It’s nice getting to try new things and seeing how they work for you isn’t it?
I love using serums and these serums sound promising. Especially the caviar serum!
It is so luxurious! They have really thought about how it can help and work.
THis serum sounds so awesome. I would love to try this product.
Do you have a favourite out of the three you would like to try?
Skin care is very important and these are like little miracles in bottles! I like how they minimalise pores.
Honestly, my pores are so much better, the ones on my nose were huge and now I’m like WOAH what a difference.
I haven’t seen these products before but they sound really great – I am so glad that they have helped you.
Thank you so much, I always dodged using serums but they are really good.
Our skin is our largest organ. It is important to take good care of our skin so learning about new and different products to help us take better care.
It’s amazing that we just can neglect it when remember that fact isn’t it?
I have never heard of this line of products before. Sounds like a great skincare regimen.
They have so much to use – for all different parts of your routine.
I already have some fine lines around my eyes. Not getting any younger, for sure. LOL. I’d like to give those products a try.
I have there really prominent one I’m sure it’s because I squint to see so much ?
I have been looking for some great skincare! I have heard of Skin Chemists but haven’t tried it. This looks awesome.
They are well worth checking out – they do some really lovely products.
My skin takes a beating in the summer and it’s always so dry. I try to moisturize as much as I can.
It’s strange how I skin does change with the seasons, isn’t it? Mine gets really dry in winter.
These sound really good, I’ve used collagen and hyaluronic acid before but not the cavier one. You should look into a retinol cream if you’re looking to help your skin look more youthful x
Ohh thank you I definitely will, I need to do something for it poor thing.
I would like to try the Pure Collagen Serum. It sounds perfect for my skin!
I love how they make different things for everyone.
Skin care can sometimes be a hit or miss thing. Still, I would love to try out new products like this as I am developing skin conditions due to ageing.
Definitely what works for one won’t work for others. Definitely something we all need to try for ourselves.
I would like to try them. Our weather here has been so hot and humid. It’s taking a toll on my skin.
Oh gosh – see we have like 2 weeks of that which is played out in 2 day bursts, the winter is what gets my skin sadly.
I definitely could use some skin help. My hormones are out of control!
Hopefully, you find something that works well for you!
