Personalised Skeleton Pocket Watch from GiftsOnline4U: Review
One thing I have come to learn about Ash, is he likes pocket watches, he doesn’t particularly use them, but he does like to have them on display and his collection includes a whole host of different designs and styles. So when the lovely people at GiftsOnline4U got in touch and asked if I would like to review something from their website, it wasn’t hard to choose this beautiful pocket watch.
Personalised Skeleton Pocket Watch
One of the first things that captured my eye out about this particular pocket watch is the fact it gives you a view inside the inner workings of the windup mechanism within. This is viewable with the watch front both up and down, thanks to the circular cut out in the middle of the case, as well as in the dial.
The main watch face is white in colour and features the time marked out with Roman numerals and small marks for each minute in black, making for a wonderfully easy to read dial. To keep track of the exact time this watch features a second, minute and hour hand.
As I said above this pocket watch is a wind-up design, which when fully wound can last up to 25 hours, although it is suggested you rewind the watch every 20 hours to make sure it doesn’t slow down at all (however, do be careful not to overwind the watch).
When it comes to the outer case of the watch, this has been made with a highly polished, silver coloured finish and the back can be personalised with your wording of choices, allowing 72 characters over 4 lines (18 characters per line including spaces). For the engraving on Ash’s watch, I decided to go with Best. Story. Ever.
Personally, I think we both agreed that this is a really nice pocket watch, one which could definitely be used, for daily time keeping as well as being something that can go out on display.
