I was kindly given £30 to spend on the wrap of my choice and try out the personalisation process.

I thought this one was a fun paper to kick off with and it allows you the ability to add two photos of your choice alongside changing the text.

My uploaded photos of Sally included a full background and body and the website quickly and smoothly edited those images to be of just her face. I was surprised by how well it cropped the photos as I’ve seen other websites try similar and never quite hit the mark. However, these fit in so well and have cropped perfectly.

For this paper, I thought I would go with quite a generic message, so I could surprise several people with it. As such I went for a 3m roll, which while it is folded in this photo, does come as a roll and is delivered in a cardboard tube which helps with storage and keeps it safe during postage.

Next up I thought this Dachshund party paper was a fun second choice. (Yes I went with dogs again). This fun paper allows you to add the name of your choice, with character space allowing up to 14 letters.

For this paper, I went for a sheet, rather than a roll and I can tell you that the quality of each is identical, which is what I was testing. Something worth noting is that this wrap is 100% recyclable, which not all wrapping paper is.

Once again this wrap is available in a choice of 5 sizes starting at an A2 sheet and going right up to a 5m roll.

My Overall Thoughts

I felt like the editing software used gave simple-to-follow instructions for any personalisation, and where editing of a photograph was needed the process was smoothly done, allowing you to put together your wrap in minutes.

Delivery was quick for personalised products; I ordered late on the 12th and it was delivered by Royal Mail on the 16th using standard delivery. An express delivery service is available, while free standard delivery is also available on orders over £50.

The paper itself is high quality and it is great to see it is fully recyclable. As such I am pleased with the paper that arrived and can’t wait to see people’s reactions to getting a gift in it!

  10. I absolutely love the “Building Blocks” one. My girls love Lego and they always get them for birthdays/Christmas etc. sometimes for just being “them” would love to wrap it in this so they get amazing memories of associating this wrap with a gift from me to say thank you to them for whatever they’ve done.

  100. Simply Gift Wrap looks great and I’d love to try some paper from them. My brother turned 40 in January and I’m disappointed that I’ve only just discovered Simply Gift Wrap as I would have loved to have got some personalised birthday gift wrap for his presents. I got him a personalised birthday card but didn’t realise that I could have got personalised gift wrap as well! Anyway, I’d really like to get some personalised birthday gift wrap for my family’s birthday presents as we do go through a lot of birthday paper over the course of the year and the paper available in the shops can be both generic and expensive. I know my mum would adore the Favourite Paw-Rent Photo Gift Wrap so I’d definitely buy that for her!
