SELECTEC Wireless Headphones
I’ve seen wireless headphones around but I don’t think I’ve ever really got how they work, the whole look of them is quite different and perhaps a little confusing until you see them up close. They are made up of one length of wire, with a headphone on each end, a charging point and controls placed towards one of the headphones.
SELECTEC sent me their stereo wireless Bluetooth headphones, which have been made specifically for use during sports. They even feature a microphone in case your phone goes off while you are busy listen to music.
The SELECTEC headphones come boxed and include a carry case, charging cable and different sized pairs of earbuds alongside the headphones themselves. This particular pair of headphones is connected by a flexible cord, which is placed around the back of the neck, while the headphones are surrounded by a flexible ear wrap. The earbuds themselves move up and down within the ear wrap which means it should be comfortable to wear on all different ear shapes and sizes.
The headphones are easily paired with any Bluetooth enabled device, by simply enabling your device and then pressing the control button on the headphones for around 5 seconds and then waiting for them to connect to one another.
I found the headphones comfortable during use, however they did take some getting used to compared to normal in ear headphones, the sound quality was good (although not the best I’ve come across, for the price they worked well and didn’t sound tinny).
Once the earphones are in, you need not worry about keeping your phone out for to skip tracks or change the volume as all of this can be done by the control situated below the one headphone, this is in easy reach at any time.
I’m not sure I would completely trust these headphones if I was to take on any type of extreme sport, however for everyday use they easy stay in place and definitely durable.

I wouldn’t try them because I don’t like those type of ear buds. They don’t fit my baby ears well at all. They would however be perfect for my Babe. he loves this style and is very athletic.

They are really good and so nice that they offer the different sized buds as the worst thing is having your ear buds pop out as they are too big or small. x
We go through them like water here! I like that these don’t sound tinny.
It is the same here, I have no idea what Ash does to them.
I like that they are wireless but not huge. I could use some for working out. They seem sturdier than my ear buds.
They are perfect for workouts and they do have a decent run time a good 3 – 4 hours of constant use I would say at least. x
I have been wanting to get some wireless headphones for the gym. I will have to get a pair of these.
They are definitely worth trying – they are comfortable and so useful and don’t cost too much thankfully. x
These would be good for working out, I am sure. They’d also be good for my tween daughter who is always saying she wants new headphones.
They would be awesome for that, they are so easy to recharge as well just plug into your computer 🙂 X
I love wireless headphones. I don’t get all tangled in them when I’m running, which used to be an annoying happening every time!

I need one of these to workout with. The phone is hard to hear if there’s nothing connecting it to your ear but who wants to carry a phone!

I am in the gym almost every day, and good music is key for a good workout. Going wireless means no embarrassing tangles too.

Those look like great ear buds. I love how well ear buds fit, but I’ve never been a fan of how they just hang there. I love these little ear mount things.
Same here! I also like how portable ear buds are, but the dangling cord can be a nuisance.
They are really comfortable – I wasn’t sure of them at first but you can’t really feel them once you have them on. x

They don’t sound too bad they don’t sound too bad. Sounds like it’s something that you’re ears need to get used to but for the purposes of what I would use them for I think they would be great
Those sound really nice. My 11 year old was just telling me he needs new headphones, so these are perfect for him.
Would you believe I’ve never owned a decent headset? Mine are all cheepies that don’t work well and eventually break. This is just what I need!
