Sea Arch Coastal Juniper: Review and Competition
I’ve never been a fan of alcoholic drinks, they just make me overheat. As such I don’t drink alcohol and personally, I have loved that the market is becoming bigger for mocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.
I remember for my 18th we had gone away and I was ordering drinks from the kid’s menu, just to have something a bit different. These days it is common to find them with the normal drinks menu as well.
When the lovely people over at Sea Arch got in contact and asked if I would like to try out their Coastal Juniper drink I was interested to give it a try.

While running a wine bar by the sea in Devon, Sarah and Geoff dreamed of creating an alcohol-free spirit.
They wanted something which was sophisticated and flavoursome and was perfect for special occasions. Without alcohol and calories. Basically offering up the chance for people to enjoy a guilt-free tipple.
With a history in hospitality across Europe and the Middle East, they knew that there had to be a way to make this drink of their dreams. So after much time spent at the kitchen table testing combinations, Sea Arch was born.

From that time a beautiful drink was born – Sea Arch Coastal Juniper.
It takes its inspiration from the Devon coastline and offers a complex non-alcoholic spirit that can be drunk with tonic, or mixed to make your own cocktails.
Made using traditional distillation techniques, this spirit offers a mix that includes ingredients such as juniper, grapefruit, blood orange and coriander. Alongside wild seaside herbs such as sugar kelp, samphire and cardamon.
If you are unsure of how to take your Sea Arch well never fear as they offer up a whole host of cocktail ideas. From the simple “Sea & T”, which finds it served over ice, with a squeeze of citrus and your favourite tonic, to more complex cocktail ideas.
Personally, I have really enjoyed trying it out in different ways, I love that they offer up ideas to make as honestly, otherwise I wouldn’t have known where to start. Some I have enjoyed, some I haven’t but that is the fun of such drinks, you find what works for you.
