Perfect Gift Ideas from Asda Photo

Coming from a supermarket we have all heard of, Asda Photo is home to a whole host of personalised products, perfect for your favourite photos.
Offering you the perfect way to share those precious memories with friends and family.
Of course, as well as being great for using yourself they also make for wonderful gift ideas. Allowing you to share moments with loved ones as gifts, either from your year or theirs.
They were kind enough to let me have a delve into their range and choose a product for myself to try out.
7.5″ x 5.5″ Photo Slate from Asda Photo.
Apparently one of their most popular items is one I happened to choose. This fantastic photo slate.
I have to admit I love trying out different textures when it comes to photo prints and the idea of the use of slate in this process really spoke to me.
Uploading and designing your image is simple. All you need to do is find the item you want and click create now.
The Asda Photo website will walk you through every step of the setup, simply explaining all parts of the creation page.
In fact, I found it took me only moments to design my slate. With it telling me any issues with photo quality and any areas which would be missed.
You can even easily upload photos from websites such as; Instagram, Facebook, Google, Dropbox and more.
The picture I decided to use comes from our holiday to Devon earlier in the year. As Ash and I watched the sunset over the sea, I looked back and saw the view of it behind the anchor and couldn’t help but grab a photo.
One of the things that drew me to choosing the slate photo was the fact it is quite a unique piece. Due to the nature of the slate, it is likely that most pieces will have unique edges.
The photo itself has a beautiful smooth finish and looks absolutely wonderful against the dark slate background.
If you are worried about how to display this photo slate, well never fear as it comes with the stand. So all you need to do is find some space and stand it up on display.
If you are thinking wow this has got to cost a lot, well I’m pleased to tell you, you are wrong. This 7.5″ x 5.5″ photo slate costs just £11, with larger sizes available.
Personally I think this is such a lovely way to display photos and I would love to have future photos displayed in this way. While gifting friends and family, an item like this is something I would definitely do to.

We just lost Grandad , so I’d like to put a pic of him on a pillow for my Nan, so she’s still sleeping next to him.
My favourite memory that was caught in a photograph was when my daughter jumped on the train of my wedding dress when she was a toddler.
