Ones Broughton Trainers Review

PR Sample – I was sent a pair of Ones Broughton Trainers for consideration on my blog.

Ever since my mobility started to decline I have struggled with finding a good pair of shoes. Personally, I want something that is easy to put on and doesn’t look ugly. This is something I initially struggled with, however, there are more brands popping up which make shoes that are trendy and easy to put on.

One such brand is Ones, which I am going to tell you more about today.

Who are Ones?

Ones are a family founded business, which has been inspired by a very personal journey of the founder’s daughter being diagnosed with blood cancer at just 7 months old. Thus followed a lot of time spent walking between Ronald McDonald Charity House Birmingham and the hospital. Where they took many steps, between the house and the hospital, never quite knowing what the day would hold, but taking it one step at a time.

At Ones, they believe everyone has their own ‘one step’ story. Be that from struggling with mental or physical health, or striving to complete a goal. With that in mind, they have created a range to help you walk your journey one step at a time.

Offering a selection of trainers which is stylish, lightweight and available in a range of colours.

What’s more they donate an incredible 10% of their profits to Blood Cancer UK.

Broughton Trainers.

I personally decided to give the Broughton trainers from the range a try. This particular pair is a lace-free, slip-on with a stretch fly-stitch upper and soft sock-liner. Inside they have a memory foam cloud insole which is set upon a firm Bloom sustainable EVA outer. (Bloom is an incredible company in its own right that launched the first algae-blended EVA to the footwear industry.)

They are a unisex design and come in a choice of colourways including; all black, all white and black and white.

The range has been cleverly designed including a number of features such as:
They are lightweight to help stop achy tired legs and feet.
The cushioned memory foam insole cleverly moulds to the foot.
Breathable material helps to stop the foot from becoming too hot as the day goes on.

The Broughton is available in sizes 4 – 12 and comes in at £64.99.

My Thoughts on the Broughton.

Personally, I have been impressed with the Broughton trainers, they offer a comfortable fit with a soft insole. I would say it is worth mentioning you cannot remove the insole if you need orthotics. They have a high fit around the heel, which helps make them feel more sturdy around the ankles.

I feel like they fit true to size and there is no need to size up or down when buying from Ones.

They definitely live up to the idea they are lightweight with them being a lot lighter than many of my shoes. As such I think they would easily be wearable for a long day out without causing issues.

When it comes to wearing they are easy to slip on and don’t slide about when on. The sock-like shell allows them to fit well to your foot without it feeling restricted. While the outer sole is sturdy and feels like it will last well.

Pricewise I think they are well priced when compared to similar brands, in fact in many ways they stand out in quality and design.

While Ones are pretty new to the market, in fact, “The RMC Range” is their first, and I feel they are one to watch. As they have brilliant ideas about comfortable leisure trainers which will work for many.
