NiZHi TT-028 Portable Mini Speaker: Review
Sometimes I wonder the easiest way to add some more sound to my iPad when I am watching TV programmes on it, or watching the latest YouTube videos on my phone, or sometimes I just want to listen to something different quietly in the corner – the NiZHi TT-028 Portable Mini Speaker is just perfect for all of those situations and more.
It features a built in FM radio with antenna and has the capability to play music from Micro SD cards, USB flash drives, as well as a 3.5mm line in port for iPod, iPhone, iPad, Smartphones and MP3 plus it comes it at a pocket friendly 50x50x52mm in size.
I have to admit I assumed this portable mini speaker would be a bit of a gimmick as it includes a set of LED colour changing flashing lights, so I thought that it wouldn’t easily connect to FM radio. (I always end up with the duff radio tuner) and the sound would be a little tinny, so when it easily tuned in and then blasted out the local radio stations I may have raised an eyebrow.
In fact the speaker has quite a bit of power behind it allowing you to really hear your music within a normal sized room. I found the FM radio easily tuned to local and national stations, while charging was easily done via a USB connection to the computer. I did find I needed to read the instructions to work out exactly how to use it and set it up (yes I am one of those people who always tries without to begin with) but once I got the hang of it, it really is quite simple to skip between functions.
While I wouldn’t suggest this for anyone who really wants to blast out their music, if you are after a portable mini speaker, that allows multiple connections as well as having an FM tuner and has something a little bit different going on I would definitely say have a look into this little beauty as at £13.70 it really is quite a fab little speaker.

On mine, since I lost the manual, I can not seem to get all the music off my USB stick, nor turn down the light show, nor access any music in a folder.
It may be that these things are not an option anyway.
Not understanding how to access all the music on the root directory where there is only a single folder other than the music, is annoying.
