Marvling Bros In A Matchbox Review
PR Sample – I was gifted a range of Marvling Bros In A Matchbox for consideration on my blog.
Are you looking for a small but special gift to give a friend? Or a little something to slip into a stocking this festive season? Then I have some ideas for you from Marvling Bros LTD.
Marvling Bro LTD

It all began with a school game. I think many of us would have played the “how much can you fit into a matchbox” game at some point. However, for Hayley and Emma, the idea grew to become the business you see today.
In 2013 they launched their website with over 6000 items on sale, however, they only sold 10 in their first week, they tried craft fairs and Not on the Highstreet, but sales weren’t great. Then in October, suddenly sales jumped, from 1 – 2 a day to over 500 in just a week. By the end of November they had so many sales they had close up for Christmas to make sure they arrived in time.
Thanks to family and friends who rallied around them to help get orders out, Hayley and Emma were looking forward to a quiet Christmas. Yet that wasn’t to be as Not On The Highstreet called and said they were nominated for an award for the best customer service 2013, and of course, the January Sales were calling.
Now 10 years later, the business has only gone from strength to strength.
What Will You Find In Your Matchbox?

One of the first things that jumped out at me about Marvling Bros LTD was the fact they have matchboxes for so many occasions. Everything from birthdays to Christmas or just saying thank you is covered.
I was kindly sent 4 different matchboxes each filled with something completely different.
Christmas Music Box Kit In A Matchbox
With Christmas not too far away I had to include something festive and this little music box in a matchbox is so sweet. It comes with a miniature music box which plays “I Wish You a Merry Christmas”. All the recipient needs to do is add on the winder, give it a wind and let the music play. They even include the words on the back of the matchbox in case anyone wants to have a sing-a-long.
Christmas Music Box Kit In A Matchbox costs £9.95.

Meteorite With You’re A Star Message In A Matchbox
Sometimes you just need to tell something they are a star for all they have done for you and this incredible little box contains a real piece of meteorite rock and a fun message to tell the recipient just how much they mean to you. The small chip is around 6mm is from NWA869 and comes with the official scientific classification details.
Meteorite With You’re A Star Message In A Matchbox costs £9.95.
Sending You A ‘Hedgehug’ In A Matchbox
When a friend is having a bad time it might be that you want to send them a huge and this little “hedgehug” could be the perfect way to do it. Inside you will find a handmade felted hedgehog which is sent alongside the message; My Point Is Your Amazing.
The Sending You A ‘Hedgehug’ In A Matchbox comes in at £9.95.
Mini Marshmallow Toasting Kit

Know someone who loves camping but can’t make it out there at the moment, then how about giving them a mini camping experience at home? With 12 mini marshmallows, two mini wooden toasting sticks, three candles, and full instructions on how to brave the great outdoors, this kit really does have it all! Just remember to be careful of that flame and don’t overcook your marshmallows!
The Mini Marshmallow Toasting Kit comes in at £11.95.
Overall Thoughts

I have to say I am really impressed with the Marvling Bros LTD matchbox sets. They have obviously been well thought through, they are perfect as a letterbox gift and they really help get a message across if you want to.
The items are well-made, thoughtful and fun, what more could you ask for?
If you would like to see more of these matchbox ideas do head over to the Marvling Bros LTD website.
What do you think of these ideas, could you see yourself giving them as a gift?
