Lily Lolo Smoky Rose Eye Shadow Quad: Review

The end of last year was blighted by both me and Ash not feeling well so I am sadly a little behind on posts – this little beauty was originally to come to the blog as a fantastic stocking filler for all those smoky eye loving beauties but perhaps it was a blessing that it is now coming up as it is actually in the Lily Lolo sale with the Smoky Rose Eye Shadow Quad dropping from its RRP of £18.99 down to £12, making for a great new year’s bargain.

About Lily Lolo. 
A British brand launched in 2005 by Vikki Khan, Lily Lolo is named after her two sisters (Lisa and Lorraine) and specialises in mineral makeup. All Lilly Lolo products are free from parabens, synthetic perfumes and dyes, while also being BUAV approved. They pride themselves on not only providing people great quality products but also helping people find the right product for their skin type alongside videos and guides on how to make the most out of each item.

I love all four colours in the beautiful Smoky Rose Eye Shadow Quad pallet – I was a little dubious at first when it came to the white and rose assuming they would be quite bold colours, but they are really rather subtle and perfect for highlighting, the white and taupe brown offer a touch of shimmer which is beautifully complement by the matte of the dark brown.

All four colours offer very little fallout in use, they are actually free from fragrance and talc and contain jojoba oil to help nourish and moisturise. They blend easily when applied and offer a long lasting look that could see you through both night and day.

I am looking forward to hopefully getting to try more Lily Lolo throughout 2014 – as I really have been impressed with the beautiful Smoky Rose Eye Shadow Quad and remember if you fancy getting your hands on it yourself at the moment you can get it for just £12 at Lily Lolo.
