Lente Designs: Review

I was kindly sent two cases from Lente Designs to have a look at.

I actually think I am slightly more obsessed with iPad cases than phone ones at the moment, am putting this down to the fact that like my phone, it does come everywhere with me, yet doesn’t sit safely inside my handbag. Which leaves me liking to make sure I keep it well protected within a case.

I was kindly sent two cases, the first just perfect for all those flower lovers and the other may just be brilliant for Father’s Day and all those gadget-loving Dad’s out there.

Lente Designs Cornflower

This first case is, of course, Lente Designs Cornflower. 

One of the first things I noticed about both of the Lente Design cases is the quality of them. They are hand-printed onto natural cotton canvas and feature a super-soft inner lining. The front cover folds to allow the case to bit put into either the perfect for typing position or the perfect for watching films position.

Both cases feature cut out pieces around the buttons, speaker and camera. While offering that all-important (in my mind) sleep-wake feature. It is also one of the most cleverly cut iPad cases I have come across offering all-around protection.

I have to say I am really impressed with the Lente Designs cases. Not only are they beautifully made, but the texture offered by the cotton canvas also offers a better grip than many of the smooth cases I have had in the past. As such I have found I am less likely to drop it when I am walking from place to place. However, Ash did manage to drop it on the pavement when he was getting Sally out of the car and it thankfully kept my iPad safe within its folds.

Lente Designs Smithy Stripes

The last week has seen me using the Smithy Stripes design and it has got me so many compliments. 

Everyone who has seen it be them male or female has complimented me on the cheerful cover and asked where it came from.

Of course, this case includes all the same features as the Cornflower case and has extra colour power – what’s not love!

Perhaps one of the best things I am yet to tell you about these cases is the price. With an RRP of £24.99 they come in a lot cheaper than many iPad cases I have come across. Add that to the attention to detail, plus the colourful designs; you really are getting a quality piece for your money.
