One thing I have managed to master this year once again is reading. OK, I have to use audible as I find words now bounce around the place, however, the enjoyment is worth it.
I was recently contacted to see if I would like to giveaway a couple of copies of Lanesbrough Hall by Elisabeth Linley and I thought it would be a lovely idea to pass on the joy of reading.
Lanesbrough Hall by Elisabeth Linley

Lanesbrough Hall tells the story of two women, whose lives are connected across time. Offering up a story of love, loss and intrigue. Set in an ancestral home in Scotland, it offers up an intriguing read full of secrets and just a touch of magic.
Scotland 1953: Leaving behind her beloved Lanesbrough Hall and her teenage love Will, Mimi heads off to start university life at St Andrew’s. While there she meets Glen at a party and becomes convinced she has found a new life of independence and glamour.
However, destiny has other plans for her and torn between passion and convention Mimi has to navigate her journey from a young and carefree, to a life of responsibility and secret that will forever tie her to Lanesbrough Hall.
London 2019: Isabelle is an ambitious doctor, she knows where she wants life to take her. That is until she unexpectedly inherits Lanesbrough Hall. Heading off to visit her family’s ancestral estate she has no idea what lies ahead.
It is only while browsing through her grandmother’s diaries, Isabelle discovers some long-buried secrets, which could bring everyone together or tear them apart. Will Isabelle be able to rewrite her family’s, future, by taking a step into the past and rewriting their history?
Elisabeth Linley

Elisabeth Liney is a nature lover, who has a master’s degree in Natural Science and is a clinical psychologist.
She lives in the Northumberland countryside, surrounded by wildlife. Perhaps unsurprisingly she enjoys long walks in the hills with her husband and their dogs, visiting stately homes and agricultural shows, alongside cooking, baking, gardening, reading and knitting. While she also cherishes the time she gets to spend with her son. Lanesbrough Hall is her debut novel.
Lanesbrough Hall is available to buy now with an RRP of £11 for paperback and £24 for hardback. It can be bought from Amazon (affiliate link) and all good bookshops.
