You’re probably all wondering why I am telling you the wonders of my shower when apparently reviewing a leave-in treatment. Well, worry not. I have not lost the plot. Over the years of not being able to have a bath everyday, I came up with different ways to make things easier on myself. Of course, one way was a dry shampoo but there is only so long that works for so I switched things round a little. I would shampoo my hair and then finish it off with a leave in conditioner and today I have one of my latest finds in the leave in conditioner stakes. Here is my Kevin Murphy Staying Alive review.
Kevin Murphy Staying Alive review
Kevin Murphy Staying Alive is an intense leave in treatment developed to overcome dryness. It contains both olive leaf extract and rose hip oil which are rich in antioxidants and help protect the hair. Other ingredients include honey and extracts of ivy, Iceland moss and silk proteins to moisturise, soften and give hair the flexibility you desire. It also contains burdock root extract to promote shine, strength and body. The formula is paraben free and also helps to ease frizz, strengthen the hair and add shine. It helps to smooth and repair damaged or colour treated hair.
One of the things that I love about this is just how easy it is to use. You just spray the weightless mist onto damp hair then comb through. This does offer a deep treatment that I wouldn’t use on my hair every wash but of course this makes it perfect for those bad days when I can’t completely finish it off in the shower. It’s also perfect for use on colour treated hair.
When it comes to action on the hair it most definitely lived up to expectations, leaving it smooth, less frizzy and feeling soft. So, if you’re after a more deep conditioning treatment that you don’t have to wash out, I can definitely recommend Kevin Murphy Staying Alive to give your hair almost a new lease of life.

I am not really bothered about conditioner and when I saw “Kevin Murphy Staying Alive” my first thought was that another comedian was going on tour!
I’ve never tried a leave-in conditioner before so this would be a nice one to start with. It’s only in recent years that I’ve needed to use conditioner as my hair had always been greasy before that.
Sounds like a nice product to try for hair treatment. I want my hair flat and easy to brush too.

My hair tends to get really dry and frizzy so I love how much these leave in treatments moisturize my hair from the roots.
This product sounds awesome. I would love to try it on daughter’s hair. She has long, thick hair and I think this would work on her.

I am glad you got something fitted to help you out :-)..i love leave in conditioners i have a few but have not seen this one,the dry shampoo actually makes my hair worse so i have stopped using that kind of product.

My hair ios getting long and getting harder to wash. This is something I would love to try.
I could definitely use this product-you see keeping my right arm “up” for any period of time hurts-so a leave in conditioner would halve the time that arm is raised while washing my hair. And my hair could definitely use some shine and revitalization!
Most of the leave in treatments I have tried do not work. I will have to check this one out. My hair is really dry so the deep leave in treatment might be perfect.

Some do – my hair is the worst for playing up when it comes to a lot of products – you don’t want to put too much on the roots try and stick to the lengths and your be a-ok 🙂 xx

My idea of haircare is shampoo and that’s it. I think the easier the hair to take care, the better. I just don’t want to spend any time in it.

This sounds like a great product. I get keratin treatments in my hair, so I don’t know if I can use this or not. I would have to ask my stylist.
I like these kinds of deep treatment products. They really are the perfect once in awhile fix!
