Kent Create Fine Quill Paddle Brush Review
PR Sample – I was gifted a Kent Create Fine Quill Paddle Brush for consideration on my blog.
My hair – what can I say about it? Well, it is out of control and there is a lot of it. So I am always looking for a good brush which doesn’t add static and doesn’t pull in use.
Recently I’ve been using the Kent Create Fine Quill Paddle Brush and this is how it has been going.
Kent

Kent Brushes was founded back in 1777, and since then they have become well known for their fine brushes. In fact, they are the Royal Warrant holder for hairbrushes and have supplied the royal household across nine consecutive Sovereign reigns.
Now having manufactured brushes for over 240 years, they have over 250 brushes for sale which cover hair, body, clothes, makeup, teeth and shaving. Today they are sold across the UK both online and in-store at department stores and pharmacies. What’s more, they are also distributed to over 50 countries worldwide.
Alongside their rich history, they also take pride in trying to offer brushes for all hair types, lengths and budgets.
Kent Create Fine Quill Paddle Brush

A new addition to the Kent Create range is the Fine Quill Paddle Brush. This particular brush has been designed to work with most hair types, both long and short in length.
It features non-scratch ball-tipped nylon quills, which help it glide through the hair and make for easy detangling. While the air-cushioned head allows the brush to be gentle on the scalp.
For styling, the brush is given a soft touch handle, which makes for a comfortable grip during use. Size-wise the brush comes in at; an overall length of 245mm, handle length of 110mm and width of 85mm.
My Thoughts

Offering a large paddle brush which is great for using while drying and styling your hair. The handle while at first look I thought was strange, is actually easy and comfortable to hold.
I do find that if my hair has picked up static I can hear it cracking when I use this brush which is a bit of a shame. However, it isn’t constant and seems to happen more in the days after washing my hair, than straight after. As such I would place it more as a styling brush, than for everyday use. (Yes my health means I can’t wash my hair daily).
Overall I was impressed with the size of the paddle and its ability to help style the hair as well as detangle it. As such I would definitely suggest it if you are looking for a new styling brush for this.
The Kent Create Fine Quill Paddle Brush comes in at £10 and can be bought via the Kent website.
What do you think of the sound of this brush?

I would choose the PURE FLOW LARGE VENTED FINE QUILL PADDLE BRUSH to help with my dull and knotty hair.
The large paddle brush with large quill is the one I’d love to try as my hair is very dry
the Large Synthetic Black Shaving Brush ; my hair falling out/thinning
AIRHEDZ MEDIUM PADDLE BRUSH WITH LARGE QUILL

I’m wondering if there is a way to understand which brushes work best for which hair or whether one just has to try them?
The AIRHEDZ EXTRA LARGE PADDLE BRUSH WITH LARGE QUILL would be perfect for my long hair which tangles really easily
I’d like to try the Classic shine large soft white pure bristle brush as it sounds perfect for my fine, flyaway hair
It would be either the AirHedz Glo half-round brush or this Paddle brush! We have 4 people in our house with long hair, and it all gets tangled very easily. I’m always on the lookout for a good, long lasting brush, as any paddle brush we usually get the bristles break quite easily.
Tortoiseshell Effect Headhog Hairbrush – I hate tangles, but also don’t like a big hairbrush. This looks like it could do the job and is small enough to carry about.
I would most like to try the AIRHEDZ MEDIUM PADDLE BRUSH WITH LARGE QUILL. My hair gets tangled very easily.
I would like to try the Pure Flow Large Vented Fine Quill Paddle Brush as I have very thick curly hair that I need to rapidly detangle before it starts to dry!
I would like to try the Classic Shine Large Soft White Pure Bristle hairbrush. I have thin hair that is flat and this would help.
Mine is frizz. I would love to try the PERFECT FOR SMOOTHING LARGE CUSHION BRISTLE NYLON MIX BRUSH
I have fine hair and think the CLASSIC SHINE LARGE SOFT WHITE PURE BRISTLE HAIRBRUSH
might stop breakage
I have fine hair and I think the Classic style large soft white pure bristle hairbrush would be my choice. They are very reasonably priced
I would buy the KIDS ARTHEDZ CATS HAIRBRUSH for my granddaughter as she has very long blonde hair that is always getting in a tangle during her adventures (she loves cats)
AirHedz Extra Large Paddle Brush with Large Quill is the one I’d like to try for my super thick locks!
I’d love to try the AirHedz Extra Large Paddle Brush with Large Quill. I have long, thick, wavy hair and frizz and knots are my main concern.
LADIES FINEST DARK WOOD PURE SOFT WHITE BRISTLE NARROW BRUSH would be the one I would choose, although the paddle brush sounds fun!
For my fine hair CLASSIC SHINE LARGE SOFT WHITE PURE BRISTLE HAIRBRUSH…. please 🙂
Classic shine large bristle brush – perfect for my extremely long hair – perfect for shine
That is so weird to find out the history of a hairbrush. I guess it’s not something I would think about even though I use it every day. But what a lovely journey they’ve had and from supplying it to the Royal household in the past, I actually thought it would be sold for more than £10.
I would love to try the LARGE CUSHION BRISTLE NYLON MIX BRUSH, I have really long hair (I can sit on it ). My hair tangles very easy and would love to try this brush.
