Kent Create Fine Quill Paddle Brush Review
PR Sample – I was gifted a Kent Create Fine Quill Paddle Brush for consideration on my blog.
My hair – what can I say about it? Well, it is out of control and there is a lot of it. So I am always looking for a good brush which doesn’t add static and doesn’t pull in use.
Recently I’ve been using the Kent Create Fine Quill Paddle Brush and this is how it has been going.
Kent

Kent Brushes was founded back in 1777, and since then they have become well known for their fine brushes. In fact, they are the Royal Warrant holder for hairbrushes and have supplied the royal household across nine consecutive Sovereign reigns.
Now having manufactured brushes for over 240 years, they have over 250 brushes for sale which cover hair, body, clothes, makeup, teeth and shaving. Today they are sold across the UK both online and in-store at department stores and pharmacies. What’s more, they are also distributed to over 50 countries worldwide.
Alongside their rich history, they also take pride in trying to offer brushes for all hair types, lengths and budgets.
Kent Create Fine Quill Paddle Brush

A new addition to the Kent Create range is the Fine Quill Paddle Brush. This particular brush has been designed to work with most hair types, both long and short in length.
It features non-scratch ball-tipped nylon quills, which help it glide through the hair and make for easy detangling. While the air-cushioned head allows the brush to be gentle on the scalp.
For styling, the brush is given a soft touch handle, which makes for a comfortable grip during use. Size-wise the brush comes in at; an overall length of 245mm, handle length of 110mm and width of 85mm.
My Thoughts

Offering a large paddle brush which is great for using while drying and styling your hair. The handle while at first look I thought was strange, is actually easy and comfortable to hold.
I do find that if my hair has picked up static I can hear it cracking when I use this brush which is a bit of a shame. However, it isn’t constant and seems to happen more in the days after washing my hair, than straight after. As such I would place it more as a styling brush, than for everyday use. (Yes my health means I can’t wash my hair daily).
Overall I was impressed with the size of the paddle and its ability to help style the hair as well as detangle it. As such I would definitely suggest it if you are looking for a new styling brush for this.
The Kent Create Fine Quill Paddle Brush comes in at £10 and can be bought via the Kent website.
What do you think of the sound of this brush?
