HealGel Eye Cream: Review
HealGel has been created by a team of leading British plastic and cosmetic surgeons alongside a dermatological biochemist and actor Natascha McElhone whose husband Martin Kelly was part of the development team before sadly suddenly dying back in 2008. The idea behind the range was to create items that would help them in their work while providing effective skin care.
At the moment the HealGel range consists of three products HealGel Face, HealGel Intensive and HealGel Eye which have all been put together to work specifically on certain areas. For example the HealGel Intensive contains silicone to help with scaring, while HealGel Face is created to specially give an anti-aging effect, while HealGel Eye which I was sent to try is said to help with dark circles, puffiness and fine lines.
HealGel Eye offers a light weight gel which contains ingredients such as Arnica Liposome, Madecassoside liposome, peptides and biodynes alongside a duel action hyaluronic complex that helps to lock in moisture while firming the area giving the effect softened fine lines, a more even skin tone, and improved elasticity while a light diffusing element helps to give off a youthful radiance.
I’ve been using HealGel Eye for around 4 weeks now and I have to say I have really noticed a difference which exceeds my original expectations of the product. It left the skin around my eyes softer while my eye bags are reduced and the eye area as a whole has regained some of its elasticity, which all help give of the look and feel of a smoother, firmer looking eye area, which has all helped with leaving me feeling much more confident with how my eyes look.
Use is easy with 1 pump giving out more than enough gel for each eye which when applied is quickly absorbed without leaving any sticky residue, each pump contains 15ml and I hardly think I have touched the surface of the content even with use twice a day, so I can see one pump lasting for a long time.

No idea, I don’t bother with much except a bit of moisturiser around the eyes
I’m interested in the scar reducing side of things but it is very expensive.
It is – I have to say I do myself think it’s worth the price but then I have tried and tested it x
Do they do a version of the dark circles one for guys?
You could just grab this one I would say – it doesn’t seem to be aimed at either gender 🙂 x

Healgel sounds like an effective product. I like the ingredients it has in it. It is hard to find an effective skincare product that isn’t full of junk.
I think companies are finally coming around to the fact we want products without all these harmful things in them. x
I can never find an eye cream that doesn’t bother my skin. My skin is so picky! Wonder if this would work

I like the fact that its been created by people who know about skin care & not just a labeled brand. I would give this a go if/when I run out of my eye gel that I have now as I allowed myself £35 for eye cream/gel however I would like to try & sample before hand.

I used to get bags under my eyes after a bad night’s sleep. Now that I am getting older, I’ve noticed they are pretty much just there all the time. Would love to try this and see if it helps!

Well worth trying I’ve had bags for years probably since my late teens I’ve always had very yellow skin around my eyes and it doesn’t half make them stand out this has made a world of difference x
I feel like I’m starting to get bags under my eyes, no bueno.
Oh no! I suffer with them a lot and this seems to have got rid of them I don’t feel so dark and drawn in underneath x
4 weeks are enough to judge a product. I think this product is great! I will buy this soon

I have to be careful what I use around my eyes. But if it works. A brightener and lifter would be nice.

My son has a huge scar between his eyes were he accidentally got whacked by a golf club. THis might help reduce the scarring.
