If like me, you aren’t so up to date with what the kids are liking (or not liking) these days then Wicked Uncle might just be the website that helps you pick the perfect present just when you need it.
The website is so easy to navigate allowing you to easily pick the age group and gender of the recipient, as well as just search the website for what they have to offer.
I went shopping with a couple of special people in mind and this is what I came up with the following:
Balloon Dog Light: £14.95
Offering all the fun of the fair, without it ever popping or deflating, this balloon dog is the perfect night light, as it offers an inbuilt timer which turns the light off automatically after 30 minutes.
Balloon dog is easy to switch on by just pressing his back leg; the exact location easily found as it is indicated by a raised circle.
Once alight balloon dog emits a soft red glow, which is perfect for adding a bit of light to a room (no matter your age). He (or she) is completely battery operated by 2 AA batteries and so is completely portable to the location you need it at any time.
Personally I think he is a complete bargain for his price, especially as he has an inbuilt timer.
Chiming Ball Necklace: £24.95
There is something so soothing about the sound of a chiming ball, I have a couple of handheld ones I get out from time to time and so I thought having one on a necklace was a very cute idea.
This particular chiming ball necklace hangs on a perfect for a child sized chain and is a perfect replica of its larger sized counterparts.
The small bell softly tinkles when you shake it, so you can keep the chimes a secret all to yourself or let those nearest and dearest to you in on the secret.

That dog is definitely a novelty type of item. My mother in law would love it. I’m going to check out the website and see what else is on there! Christmas may be tomorrow but we have birthdays coming up! It never ends!

These are a little out-there gifts, but that is what makes them unique.
